It's always good to look back and remember why you started, but also why you should keep pushing yourself. At 216lbs, I would have never thought I'd get to 152lbs. At 152lbs, I couldn't squat 135lbs nor deadlift even 135lbs. At 165lbs, I thought being bulky would let me be able to deadlift 315lbs, squat/box squat 250+lbs, or lift heavy in general. At 145lbs, I've met strength goals that the old me thought would never happen. Everyone has their own journey, this is mine. 💪🏽 #flashbackfriday #molivate #molivation

Closed my last session with @molivation; and after finishing my 5 month journey under his wing, there's one word that comes to my mind.. 'intense.' Never in my fitness journey has my body ever been put through so much stress through different forms of training (HIIT, plyo, muscle failure, resistance training, etc) in ONE session!! Every time I try to prepare before my sessions with Moli, he's always one step ahead of me by pushing my body's limits within the first 10 minutes of training! Drenched in sweat, heart rate's through the roof and I'm left asking myself, "why did I sign up for this?!?" But in the end, I needed a trainer like him to kick me out of my comfort zone by setting PRs and working through my shoulder/rotator injuries and learning so much more. I walked out knowing my stable diet plan (which I've never dialed down correctly on my own), cardio/ab days will always be needed during a shred, and to stop being too hard on myself through the process and enjoy the journey. Looking back to when I started in March 2015, I don't think I would've reached to this point on my own in such a short amount of time. I can't thank Moli enough for everything and will miss the #molivate family! 😭😢 This journey doesn't stop though, I plan to go down to 140lbs and maintain until the end of the year before deciding to build back up the clean way in 2016 💪🏽🔪💪🏽🔪
