Ridge isn’t a famous performer, he’s an engineer and general technician. He is the person who, after being commissioned by Fazbear, built Lbs! Monty with the hopes that his creation will have a successful career and existence. This, however, added a lot of pressure to Monty in the earlier years of his life, especially with all the other things piling up for them.

He’s got a southern accent, he’s stubborn about some things and emotionally distant in others. He does care about Monty, the only animatronic he completely built before being like “I ain’t ever doin’ that again.” Ridge is a tired guy and is not afraid to sass someone if needed.

Sooo, Monty in Lbs! has always been an interesting case for me. Idk how you all feel about them in the au, but he is just as integrated into this au as Moon and Sun are.

He is best friends with Moon and has been since practically day one, they are essentially each other’s rocks. They have borrowed a lot of money from Moon and as partial repayment, agreed to help Moon in the building process for Sun. Everything just spiraled from there and Monty has partial guardianship of Sun.

Monty, within Lbs, has heterochromia. They also naturally have a country accent, but pretend they have a British accent when not on the clock or around Moon and Sun(Moon tells them to knock it off, Monty does). They also have a star on their snoot instead of a lightning bolt. He has anger issues and problems dealing with their emotions in a calm way, eventually finding a way to have a good mask in public. They are friends with Puppetier, the guardian of the dimension. Monty was a chaotic force in his youth along with Moon, eventually becoming a scammer and a wildcard. A good portion of himself mellowed out after Sun was made.

Lbs! Monty’s dad, Ridge Rotag, is not a famous performer. He is the person who built Lbs! Monty and hopes that his creation will have a successful career and existence. This, however, added a lot of pressure to Monty in the earlier years.

And now, for the first retcon of Lbs that I’ll share with you guys. In the Lbs! Dimension, Monty is a demiboy now instead of being genderfluid. I never really felt like THIS VERSION of Monty ever fully leaned towards using she/her pronouns sometimes like in tsams canon, so I’m having Lbs! Monty be a demiboy using he/him and they/them interchangeably.

Note: please do not interpret me changing Lbs! Monty’s gender identity meaning that I dislike or reject the fact that Tsams Monty is genderfluid. I interpret my aus as separate dimensions from canon and sometimes a character is just a different gender in a different dimension(Ruin’s Monty not being genderfluid at all for example). Tsams Monty is genderfluid and we love them for it
