It’s truly been a while… I debated reopening this blog. I just don’t have much exciting stuff to talk about lately. My life is kind of boring, especially since running has now been placed on the back burner. I guess once I reached my goal of running Boston I no longer had the motivation to go on training as hard as I did. That’s life, I guess. However, I’m starting to go through some things that…

What one event, big or small, are you going to tell your grandchildren about?

Ummm…for this year?  I’m not sure.  There wasn’t anything mind-blowing to share, but I guess I’ll tell them this was the year we moved for the last time (at least, it’s supposed to be the last time, lol)

If you had to describe your 2019 in 3 words, what would they be?

Exhausting, regret, despair.

So…Many…Things

Well, I saw the shoulder surgeon.  He wants to move forward with the surgery.  I’m going to have my labrum anchored back into the correct spot and this will hopefully solve the impingement and tendonitis issue.  He showed me where my tear is exactly and how it’s torn the bicep as well.  I’m looking forward to it.  Having the pain I’ve been having sucks really bad and I want my range of motion…

Wow, a lot has happened.

This month marks Bipolar Awareness Month…the actual day being March 30.  It’s been about a year and a half since I was diagnosed with this illness.  In a way, I’m so glad that it was diagnosed because it finally allowed me to receive the treatment I needed.  However, it does still hang around like a dark cloud over my head.  It’s a constant reminder that there is NO CURE.  Life long illness. …

Just Need to Vent

This weekend was hell.  No, it was way past hell.

So, we had no dance practice which was great.  I got to catch up on sleep (yay!).  I ended up having Jake sleep with me Friday evening (cue hysterical crying that wouldn’t stop) so I needed the extra sleep.

Saturday morning we went out to a toy store to find these Baby Shark stuffies.  We already have the mini block versions so we went looking for…
