Yes, I have finally managed to update one of my fics! Between life, stress, and ever-constant migraines that just won't leave me alone (not to mention a muse that likes to play hide-and-seek) I have been able to write and get some work done on one of my personal favorites. Not only that, but it has been extended by another chapter as the Epilogue has grown from one to two parts!

My story One Night Can Last Forever now has the next chapter up, with chapter 10 titled "Through The Years - Part 1" It is the first part of a now two-part epilogue, detailing Elliot and Olivia's years as they grow together. So, I watched the latest episode of SVU, saw that little one sided phone call Liv made to El, and a plot bunny got in my brain. This one shot is what came of it. Hope you like it.

In a bit of conflict, this *may* be the final chapter, I'm still arguing with said muse over whether or not to do an epilogue. I promise I haven't fallen off the face of the earth! Nor have I forgotten about my stories. Health issues and a muse that likes playing hide-and-seek have made it difficult to write as much as I would like. Add in a laptop that went kaput and needed to be replaced, and that's been my life lately. But I'm not giving up on any of my stories, and I hope you all haven't given up on me. After way too long of a dry spell... where oh where does the muse go when it hides? Not to mention a spate of migraines and vertigo that have made finding writing time nearly impossible, I've finally found time to publish an update for Lighthouse. Can't believe its been nearly a year since I visited that world, (or at least let readers in). I hope you are all still following along with me, because despite a lengthy hiatus, I have no intention on giving up until Liv's healing journey is complete. So, I've delved into a new fandom... don't worry, I haven't abandoned my SVU/OC fics, the muse just started bugging me for something else! This one is for Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries, and if you've never heard of or watched that series, you're really missing out! Jack and Phryne are the best, and the supporting characters are even better. What's not to love about mystery solving in 1920's Melbourne? Anyway, the muse not only convinced me to try my hand at some new fic, but even went a step further and made it a multi chapter. I can't promise how frequently it will be updated, as this now makes my FIFTH WIP, but as with the others, it will never be forgotten. Well, I *was* working on the next chapter of Lighthouse, but a little bug got in my brain for an idea and just wouldn't leave me alone. Ended up writing this little fic in one night. I've update my fic Losing My Religion. This one is bittersweet, because while it is Chapter 9, we're getting close to the end of this one. Fear not though - because my muse isn't giving up on this story just yet. There will definitely be one more chapter, and even though that hasn't even been written yet, my brain is actively planning an epilogue, too. Just a quick update to let you all know that I haven't forgotten about my stories. Life has a funny habit of getting in the way of the things we'd rather be doing. In my instance, that happens to be writing. I'd much prefer to be working on my stories than be dealing with migraines and stress and all the other things, but at least I can still escape to the fictional worlds when I am able. First off, I would like to apologize for having taken so long to update anything. The follow up to that is because migraines suck. I have been plagued with them throughout not only the month of August, but September as well. Crippling headaches that come and last for days on end. Not very conducive to the creative gene.
