Just an average guy

Just so people are aware, i have updated my Rules.  ‘

Please see rule number 4 up the update.

‘ but, if i wait til i’m older, i lose the appeal of popularity! —-a high school girl crime fighter, that sounds like sailor moon!’ she grins at the thought. she can tell that he isn’t very popular. no, he wouldn’t be with that outfit and hairstyle. he’s not the cool bishounen type girls fall for.

‘ i can pass a written exam. —it’s mostly common sense. so, what type of class hero are you? are you new?’

“B-class, i’ve been a hero for a while actually” He wasn't about to go and knock her down a peg or two, he agreed with her that she probably had the smarts for the written test, though his pet peeve of not being remembered had been poked; suppress the annoyance Saitama, suppress it.

“Puh… No.  Noooononononono, no.  That wasn’t a punch.“  Jack sputtered a bit, the fire on her arms ceasing with a gust of air and a few steps forward.  “Punches don’t turn whatever-the-fuck that dude was from like, I dunno, eight feet of bad science project to a pair of goddamn legs.” 

The legs, as if on cue, then take a moment to topple to the ground.  No reformation, no round 2.  Just a meaty thud and a bit of ooze, which Jack opens a palm towards and begins reducing to ash.  In spite of this, she seems rather more focused on Saitama than on the mess.

“Seriously, actually, and honestly here, what the fuck did you do?  You gotta tell me, dude, please.”

“That’s all i did, i punched it” he shrugged, and reached into a pocket of his suit to collect a handkerchief and wipe his gloves clean.

“it was kinda pathetic though,” Saitamas voice was completely devoid of arrogance as he spoke, his tone suggesting that it was just a fact to him at least in some respect. Even so he expected to receive a verbal beating from someone whom thought that he was being the most arrogant man in the world, it was par for the course when your punches could level sky scrapers by accident. 

Jack and her newest concrete bosom buddy end up taking a tumble across the street, with Jack’s usual penchant for spitting and swearing the whole time, but soon enough she’s shoving the two-tonne slab aside.  Not that the swearing stops, but at least most of it stays under her breath.

Mantis-Magma-Moth-Monster-Man, however, does his best to loom in all his mutated, mangled monstrous magnitudes.

“SHOP… SHOP!?”  The creature bellows, sputtering red-hot spittle from his half-mandible, half-jaw.  “YOU STAND BEFORE ME… ME!  AND YOU ONLY WISH TO SHOP!?  SUFFER, AS I HA-”

The swinging of his scythe-like fleshy limbs is cut utterly short by the fact that Mantis-Magma-Moth-Monster-Man has ceased to exist as a singular entity, and instead exists as a pair of legs in the street, and a torso careening in several gooey pieces into the lower stratosphere.  He does, however, leave something of a mess on Saitama’s fist.

This, in turn, is punctuated by the heavy thud of concrete being dropped unceremoniously, Jack picking herself up just in time to do nothing but gawk uselessly, her arms on fire and her firepower very much made moot for monster-thrashing.

“Wha… What did you just do?”

“Punched it,” he replied as though it were the simplest thing in the world, looking down at the now blood and gore smeared rubber glove that he wore with a frown before beginning to try and shake the mess off of his skin. Saitama always hated it when the monsters were bugs, they never stayed together when they got punch and always made a mess of his uniform, he really needed to invest in a washing machine at some point if his fund would allow it.

Perking up slightly at the approval, she returned the gesture by gently taking his hand in hers. “Amai. And you’re… Saitama, correct? everyone kinda gave you a different hero name. .“

Oh thank god someone who knew who he was.

‘ woah. —-so you’re like, a hero!? ’ she was interested in that. she didn’t know him. was her knew? that would mean he’s like a c-rank or something… probably doesn’t know metal bat, which she is a big fan of.

‘ me? —well, i’m kana! nice to meet you saitama. —you know, i was thinking about being a super hero myself… i got the looks, charm, and power. i wanted to do it, but i kinda wanted to be a normal high school girl too, you know…’

“Well getting an education is important so i’d say go with that until your older” Did Kana ask for his opinion? nope, but at the same time he felt that it would be good to point out the merits of having a decent education. Another thing a Hero should do right? be a good role model?
