Her whole THING is freedom. She’s in the dark world in the first place to find her freedom in the body she just KNEW was her.

Plus, she directly parallels our relationship with Kris. She presents a solution to the problem we have with Kris, where the body and soul want something different. She presents the idea of working together and compromising, learning to love both sides of yourself. She is the freedom that we and Kris could potentially have.

Not to mention, Pink and Ralsei are parallels too! Pink knows who she is and what she wants, and Ralsei does not. Ralsei speaks directly to Pink’s problems like her dysphoria like they know what she’s going through. Ralsei is, at their core, envious of people who know what they want and are confident enough to take it. They NEED Pink’s fight, in a way, because it might help them become more secure.
