I don’t ever even think about that even a little bit.

So, as you may know at this point, he was Ed’s opening act for the South American leg of the tour. As part of that tour they played Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina, it’s his first time coming here. Prior to that he announced his own headlining tour throughout Latinamerica for early March that didn’t include Uruguay.

After his show in Montevideo (UY), uruguayans felt in love with him and he with them and started asking for a date in their country to the point of leaving comments on his social media, trending #PassengerbacktoUY and putting 2 of his songs on UY 50 week viral on Spotify. He’s in shock like: are you guys serious about this??? What’s going on?? We are seriously considering adding a date there… If we go there would you come? And people is like: no other artist showed us this kind of love, of course we are going!. So they maneged to find a place within the day and squeeze in a new date in the tour (the show is in a week time!), change flights, find accommodation for everyone and make the announcement. And lemme tell ya, the Uruguayans responded fast cause the show goes sold out in 15 minutes! It’s his only sold out show of the whole tour and everyone is super happy!… Well, not. Because the venue is a bit small for the demand. So now they start trending #Passengergetabiggervenue! But it’s carnival here so every place is booked so the best they could do was add a second show that same day! For the first time in his career they are doing a matinee show, but since is carnival and everything is so short notice they won’t be able to put it on sale until 2 days before the actual show and everyone is super excited organizing fans actions and everything. So, yeah, apparently they found love just where they where 💚.
