If youāre a black woman and you have fibroids PLEASE do your research before a doctor tries to put you on birth control or even recommends removing your uterus. We are ignored the most by the healthcare system, so itās up to us to be aware and on top of our health. Do your research on the long term effects of birth control. Birth control is usually the first thing doctors recommend to regulate hormones... Doctors have thrown me on birth control every single time for MANY years every time I went to them complaining about ALL OF MY OBVIOUS fibroid symptoms... All it will do is mask the real issue. If you suspect you have fibroids, PCOS, endometriosis or any other reproductive disease require that you have your hormone levels checked, and you have a vaginal ultrasound done and if they say you donāt need it DEMAND that it be done or youāll take legal action. I know many people have been taught to believe that genetics play a roll in some of the most common diseases, especially in the black community, but diet plays an even bigger roll in our overall health than we realize. Disease isnāt hereditary, eating habits are. Pay attention to the foods, and environmental factors that you and your family partake in and know that we as a community can change the obesity, diabetes, heart disease and many other diseases that ārunā in our families due to similar habits. These are all lifestyle diseases. And before someone tries to come for me I understand there are certain diseases that may be hereditary BUT the most common diseases are due to our own ignorance and unhealthy habits. You can choose to ignore this information but please do your own research and know you can heal yourself naturally. Eating healthy is normal even though society has turned us into processed and fast food junkies. Iām healing my womb as we speak through my diet and incorporating herbs. TMI (for some) but my menstrual cycle is completely normal at this point. Prior to making these changes I was having a period every 20 days and my periods were heavy and lasted 5-6 days!!! I no longer have dysmenorrhea, short cycles, and heavy bleeding and I did all of this without the āhelpā of birth control. Iāve had one period a month which last for 3 days. I no longer suffer from anemia which was due to losing insane amounts of blood twice a month and itās all becuase Iāve changed my eating habits and decided to make better lifestyle decisions which has altered my menstrual cycle health. Iād recommend researching an alkaline vegan diet, or at the bare minimum cutting out as much meat, dairy, and processed foods as possible. Look up Dr. Milton Mills, Dr. Sebi, Dr. Amsu, and Dr. Amun. There are many YouTube videos of them spilling knowledge. At this point being ignorant isnāt an excuse. Donāt count on Big Pharma to help you heal.
