Dazai’s eyes lit up with a certain cheerfulness to them, the smirk returning as he leaned in. “ You like me? Yes, I got Chibi to admit it! And no taking it back, either, you are stuck with the knowledge that you told me that forever now! Isn’t that nice, Chuu~ya? “ he poked the redhead’s cheek for emphasis. “ Who knew you could be so cute! “

I’m on break right now, actually, ❞ the cub was confused as to why the Executive was speaking to him of all people. yet found no reason to assume the other had any ill intentions towards him in the slightest. but in any case something were to happen, he could at least defend himself, ❝ Did you, need something from me? ❞

She understood his words loud and clear. That’s not to say she’d give him any mercy by acknowledging and taking pity on the executive. It really would have been much easier for him to simply agree. Maybe then her unrelenting teasing would fall flat. But no, his denial only spurs her torment further. Hands pressed on hips, Yosano leans forward expectantly, leveling her gaze with his. 

“Then is a man more in your ballpark? I’m not usually one for sharing my things, but I may make an exception because I’m feeling particularly generous. How kind of me!”

    What was she plotting he didn’t know...but one thing he knew perfectly is how she was trying to get into his skin. Chuuya is very known to have a short temper, people usually tries to not anger the executive by all means, his physical power was something to fear of. But..for some odd reason, the redhead acted very calm in front of the doctor, she is probably the first woman to not show any kind of interest on the executive’s rank or his bad temper, however Chuuya feels that this is going to where exactly she wants to go.

He felt exhausted already and the conversation was just starting. A small growl came form his lips.

“ ...why would you be ‘at generous with me anyways?  I know yer interested on me, if not this would mean a waste of time - I said I don’t wanna be ' at damn personal footstool or yours. “ he paused. “ ‘sides why would ya need one anyways? “

“I guess you can take it like that. I’ll be candid where you failed to be.” It’s laughable, almost, how in-denial and unaware the executive was. A Cheshire-like simper grows brightly in response to his apprehension. “I’m holding you accountable for everything. Since you’re offhandedly agreeing to my terms and all. Make sense?”

“When I was way younger, I didn’t want to be a princess. I wanted to be a queen. Not to wear dresses and go chat up other nobles, but to be a strong leader with a country ruled by my hand. It’s a memory of the past. Obviously I don’t have those ambitions anymore. But it’s still nice to think back on.”

“Simple. You clearly underestimate the Armed Detective Agency if you think one of the workers cannot deduce ulterior motives from the get-go. Your roundabout questioning when I brought it up was not out of morbid interest, but genuine interest. Otherwise, I can recall other instances of you being very clear about your interests and what you want. But this topic is a little embarrassing, no? It’s only understandable you’d beat around the bush.”
