For as far back as Angel can remember she’s been on her own. Her parents passed away when she was young, the memories of them feeling so far that they’re almost like a dream. Instead she was passed around between foster homes but none ever seemed to stick. Something always seemed to get in the way and eventually Angel gave up on the idea of having a family of her own. All she knew was a life by herself which was why she decided to run away without looking back. That’s how she eventually found her way to Echo Isle and eventually, Buster. He offered her a place to call her own at the Junkyard as a car mechanic in exchange for her becoming his errand girl. In the depths of the crashed cars was where the real deal lied which included the stealing and selling of material goods. Buster and his crew of misfits were all involved in quite a few misdemeanors which was why Angel was the perfect addition. She was slick, she was pretty, and it turned out she could get away unscathed more often than not. When they attracted attention, she didn’t. The Junkyard is where she really learned how to take care of herself by herself. As far as Angel is concerned she belongs to no one but Buster seems to think different. He believes has a claim on her since he brought her into the group, though Angel always tries to remind him that isn’t the case. This is the closest thing she’d ever had to a home and even though it isn’t perfect Angel doesn’t have anywhere else to go.
She doesn’t really know what she wants to do with her life, unsure if she can really do anything else after this. Angel knows she’s done wrong and Buster’s threats always keep her from actually considering leaving. If she was to ever go she knows he would come after her now that she has all the inside scoop on his small crime business.
Her memories of her parents have become uncertain. She’s started to wonder if these are real or just things she’s making up in her head. There is a single polaroid photo she has of them that she keeps on her at all times. Even if they’re gone she wants them to always be with her.
The Junkyard gang share an apartment that Buster pays for, most of the guys being slightly cramped while she only shared the biggest room with Ruby. Thing about Buster was, he always treated his ladies a little better. Even though the place is pretty nasty most of the time she calls it home, nothing she isn’t used to from her some of her old foster homes.
Angel has become a pretty good car mechanic, picking up on it faster than she expected to. Buster still chooses to pull her off that kind of stuff to go run errands for him. as much as she hates it. Even though she signed up knowing she’d be doing this for him she also wishes he’d let her work like the guys.
There is a certain kind of thrill she gets from stealing, though she isn’t proud of it. As much as she wants to be a better person she doesn’t know how to get out.
Unbeknownst to Buster she is still in contact with Kit Charming who has been a frequent target. Angel had been tasked with stealing from him when she got caught but he surprised her with kindness. He’s offered her a place that feels like what a home should be and even though she knows she couldn’t get used to the idea, Angel can’t help but visit. He’s the closest thing she has to a real friend.
Even though she loves being alone she gets lonely more often than she lets on. Angel wants a life outside of the Junkyard but isn’t sure if she’s deserving of one. All she knows now is a life of petty crime and taking care of herself.
