IT’S TIME FOR JUNIPER’S LIMBUS COMPANY OC CAST! (W.I.P)

Some of these are familiar names I’ve already shared but there’s new content here too so shhhhhhh- (also prepare for faceclaim and clipart Sinner icons galore)

INTRODUCING SINNER NO. 14

Xuanzang - The Monkey King

Based on Journey to the West, Xuanzang is a well mannered and quiet scholar in search of enlightenment. However, he internally battles with a beast sealed within his body known only as “Wukong”.

NEXT UP, SINNER NO. 15:

Holmes - Justice

Based on the tales of Sherlock Holmes, Holmes is a young detective hailing from District 20. His knowledge and maturity are well-beyond his years, but he can’t help but linger on the memories of his late partner Watson.

AND NOW, SINNER NO. 18:

Arsene - Heist

Based on the tales of Arsène Lupin, Arsene is a cunning thief who has become well known throughout the City. She often leaves blue roses at the scenes of her crimes, just to taunt any poor individuals who happen to clean up the mess afterwards.

HERE COMES SINNER NO. 20 (the one who started all this):

Clare Abshire - Chronos

Based on The Time Traveler’s Wife, Clare is a soft-spoken young lady who may or may not be grossly over-medicated. She hallucinates on occasion when nobody is around, insisting she’s talking with someone named “Henry”.

JUST TWO MORE NOW, SINNER NO. 22:

Eurydice - don’t look back

Based on the tale of Orpheus, Eurydice is quite possibly the meanest Sinner in this cast. With her heart turned cold upon the loss of her dear, she’s begun to push everyone around her away without any concern for her own self-destruction.

AND FINALLY, SINNER NO. 24:

Cat-Sìth - The King of Cats

Based on Celtic myth/folklore, Cat-Sìth is a seemingly quiet and formal character, however he does care about people quite a bit, even if he doesn’t like to show it. He also occasionally likes to get pat on the head, but he won’t personally request for it.

AND THAT’S IT SO FAR! SIX DOWN AND SIX MORE TO GO!

WE HAVE TWO NEW ADDITIONS TO THE TEAM! INTRODUCING... SINNER NO. 17

D'Artagnan - Fleur-De-Lys

Based on The Three Musketeers, D'Artagnan is a youthful heart whose only interest seems to be flirting with every woman in the company. Despite such forwardness (and perhaps audacity), he's a good kid with a good heart. SINNER NO. 21

Sadako - Seven-Day Curse

Based on Ring (and Kuchisake-onna surprise surprise), Sadako is a polite young lady mostly known for her grotesque slit-mouth (to where she got such a thing is unknown). It's assumed she went through some deep trauma in her younger years, which is why she tends to stay quiet around most.

With that, I have two additional treats for y'all (one I have to post separately but)

An updated Relationship chart, now with clean beautiful lines (black circle means that's how X feels about everyone else and gray circle means that's how everyone feels about X)

and...

A UST Preview Album featuring the main themes for each (so-far revealed) Sinner! This one took a while to get done, so enjoy! (You'll be able to find the album release on my blog, you'll see it)

I'll admit I just wanted an excuse to use some of my favorite music tee hee

SINNER NO. 16

Alice - Down the Rabbit Hole

Based on Alice in Wonderland, Alice is a strong-headed knight known not just for her loyalty, but her love for humanity itself. She’s the one who cheers on the underdog, just as she did during her time in the Diamond Militia, a rebel group who attempted to overthrow the Queen of Hearts long ago.

SINNER NO. 19

Zoroaster - Overman

Based on Thus Spoke Zarathustra, Zoroaster is the most likely candidate for most insane person in the company, and it’s not hard to see why. His constant clamouring for new ‘disciples’ doesn’t make him a particularly fun person to be around, yet he does hold knowledge on things many wouldn’t, so he’s not completely useless (if you can look past his insane ramblings).

SINNER NO. 23

Fáfnir - Fathomer

Based on a combination of German and Nordic folklore/mythology, Fáfnir is a quiet and unassuming sort. He isn’t quick to trust those around him, and resents those who ‘walk with greed’ as he would put it. As a Dragon of the Outskirts, his origins are deeply controversial within the City, making him the source of much discrimination to anyone who recognizes his origins.

SINNER NO. 25

Vassago - Key of Solomon

Based on the Ars Goetia, Vassago is as cunning and she is mysterious. Speaking in an array of metaphors and cryptic prophecies, she certainly doesn’t make for a warm presence in the company. Her attendants, Saleos and Eligos, both remain at her sides constantly, unspeaking to anyone but her.

AND WITH THAT, THE CAST IS COMPLETE! NOW ALL THAT’S LEFT IS WRITING THE SHIT AND MAYBE-

Well either way, the project has finally gotten started proper. Now’s time for the final name reveal tee hee :)

INTRODUCING PROJECT MIRROR WORLDS, A COMPLETELY NEW TAKE ON THE LIMBUS STORYLINE! FEATURING A NEW CAST OF SINNERS, ALONG WITH NEW CANTOS/INTERVALLOS/AND MORE!

I’m overjoyed to be working on something this big, since it’s felt like I haven’t had this much passion for something I’ve written for in a long time… Either way, look forward to more and more updates in the future, since I haven’t even finished writing the prologue yet (bleh). It’s honestly disturbing since I’m currently writing in a visual novel-esq style for now, so it’s a deceiving amount of words compared to what’s actually been written down. I’ll pretty it up later for sure, no doubt… Once that’s said and done and I pretty it up, I’ll start teasing stuff for Canto I (i.e. Holmes’ Canto) ((working title is The Unsolving, but I might think of something better later)).

Anyhow, enough said. That was the update.
