hi!! this isn't actually an official jumpstart account, it was a parody account me and my friend made for fun a while ago. all of the jumpstart games are on the internet archive, and the online game is still downloadable!

Magic Mythies originally was going to star fairies! Laurel was even planned to be a family member of Ivy.

The pet mascots in JumpStart World Online are miniature clones of the main cast! Botley and Hopsalot are behind this amazing feat of science.

The Penguins of Madagascar are no longer in JumpStart World due to global warming! It was simply too warm for them to remain healthy there so they left.

There has been an effort on the JumpStart crew’s part to cool it down enough for them to return should they wish though its doubtful the penguins will return.

As mentioned before, the Ivy in JumpStart World Online is not the same Ivy as she died.

However, there was evidence that she was killed. The killer is still at large and might never be caught.

In 2016, for a few days, there was an odd glitch that made Frankie ‘curse’ uncontrollably. It’s believed he was was saying “help” but due to the distortion and early cut off because of the glitch, it sounded like something else.

It seemed like nothing was working until the Jumpee models were changed. Honestly, no one knows why that is the case and we’re afraid to ask.

Remember being an animal player character in JumpStart World but being the human creature called a “jumpee” in the online game?

This is because of an outcry in parents over playing as an animal. They feared that if their kids continued playing as an animal, they would become furries.

During a part of one of the games that was later cut, it is revealed Eleanor has two moms! Their names are Emily and Elizabeth.

Trixie and Tiffany, the giraffes from JumpStart World, are half sisters!

Pierre’s favorite food, peanut butter sandwiches, was actually an inside joke among the developers. One of them didn’t like peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, opting to remove the jelly altogether, even in front of coworkers. This inside joke was proposed one day as a joke while considering more that could be added to the characters. It was taken seriously and Pierre continues to munch on his favorite kind of sandwich.

There have been multiple minor characters that have been considered for making reappearances. Roxy the raccoon from JumpStart Languages, Squirt from JumpStart Advanced 1st Grade, and Giggles from JumpStart Toddlers were all the most obvious examples of this within the development crew.

Kisha, while tied for Pierre with amount of species changes, has had the most planned species changes. When she started out, she was going to be a kangaroo but changed to a koala due to the artists struggling to keep her looking humanoid and kangaroo-like. Just before the JumpStart Advanced era began development, making her a bear cub was considered but ultimately decided against due to Pierre still being a polar bear himself.

Looking just at the age of the games, Hopsalot is older than Frankie by a whole year! Hops being from 1994 while Frankie dates back to 1995 and the preschool gang being introduced later that year. This makes the youngest of the main cast CJ and Edison, being introduced in 1996.

Both Hopsalot and Frankie were grown up at one point, yet Hopsalot now is a kid. It was almost not going to be that way. Many of the lead developers wanted Frankie to be a puppy while Hopsalot would be the adult among the kids. The only reason Frankie was aged back up was due to Hopsalot being appealing to the gifted kids while Frankie wasn’t as appealing to kids as a pup himself.

Wish there were characters in the game with disabilities? You’re in luck then! There were two characters meant to be in the series, one being deaf and another blind. The deaf one was a young lamb named Germaine, and the blind one was a little fawn named Rubin. Both were dropped in their introductory games because there wasn’t a way at the time to squeeze them into the narrative or minigames. After that, they were seemingly forgotten about.
