Welcome to The Warehouse!
I'm Jumpermoon, your local delusional radioapple fan! Here for all your Hyperfixation needs! This is the warehouse, where I ship out as much old man yaoi as one human can muster!
If you're here, I assume it's from my mediocre art/comics, but I figured I'd give a quick guide to the fanfictions I've written(and a few planned), in case anyone is curious about that as well!
I hope you enjoy my creations!
(Quick descriptions and cover art below)
Title: Lucifer's Library
Rating: Teen
Length:38/38 Chapters(170,523 Words)
Updates:Finished!
Summary:
Healing Alastor wasn't a big deal, not to Lucifer at least. It was just what a decent person would do, that's all.
Of course 'being a decent person' can start a chain reaction in which two rivals become each other's greatest assets, but they can cross that bridge when they get there.
Author's Notes: My oldest and by far most popular fic, Lucifer's Library is definitely my fluffiest and most serotonin-filled work so far. It includes a lot of Lucifer's backstory--as many of my works do, but other than that it's my first unplanned journey into the radioapple community. It's messy, the plot is all over the place, and I'm clearly throwing things at the wall often, but there's a charm to it. It also has the most amount of humor thus far, making it fairly low stakes.
(Note: If you enjoyed this work, please consider checking out Duck It, Let's Get Married, it's sequel!)
Title: 8 Ball
Rating: Teen
Length: 44/44(130,833 words)
Updates: Finished!
Summary:
Alastor is entirely fine where he is.
No, not in the implied 'I'm actually terribly sad and putting on a brave face, please help me!' way.
He's fine. He has his friends, his job, his mother. That's quite enough for him. And it will be for, ideally, the rest of his life.
There's just one thing-one tiny, insufferable thing-that interferes with that plan. He could ignore it, of course, but it's always there. A prodding, terrible, annoying-
Where was he?
Ah, yes-Everything's perfect, there's just a last stubborn kink to get out.
But that's just his Luck, isn't it?
Author's Notes: 8 Ball is my 1920s human AU, and it's just beginning to pick up a bit of attention in wake of my hiatus. I feel like it works better overall if you're looking for a slowburn, with more of an actual enemies phase. I still often use flashbacks--a habit from LL that I still adore--and I go deeper into traumatic elements in my opinion. Foreshadowing goes further in this work, as well as a darker kind of past. Humor is still an element, though I'd say it's less pronounced overall.
I've also yet to see anyone predict my twist yet...
Title: Unseen Ties
Rating: Teen(A bit more mature than the others in my opinion)
Length: 9/?(25,432 words)
Updates: Saturdays
Summary:
Deals...they complicate everything. Relationships, identity, actions. Nothing is private to you anymore. Nothing qualifies what you may or may not do.
But maybe the greatest problem with them is that nothing you are is real. You become someone else's. All is erased in place of becoming theirs. It's a fate that one should fear.
Lucifer knows this.
And yet...sometimes they are necessary.
...Wouldn't you do anything for the man you love as well?
Author's Notes: What if Lilith owned Lucifer's soul instead of Alastors? A simple concept that I have--and plan to--take very, very far. This fic is very far from canon--I invent all of Lilith's character, a more concrete system for deals...this work is the most AU like by far. This is the fic where I plan to truly dive into the concept of control--what it truly is, the consequences of it, and if the idea is truly concrete. Goofiness is more minimal, and angst is painfully prevalent. I assume this fic will be more action-centered, with a slower paced ending.
Title: Late Nights
Rating: Teen
Length: 1/1 (4,513 words)
Summary:
If one had not practiced something for over a century it’s incredibly difficult to fall back into it.
But. If one also happened to have a boyfriend prone to sleep issues...
Perhaps Alastor could make do.
Author's Notes: My only one shot thus far! I wrote it in a day and it is very sappy and very silly. I think if you're curious about how LL is written, this is a good appetizer to my fluffier side.
To Be Written:
And, of course, there are several ideas floating around my mind at the moment as well! None of these are guaranteed to come to fruition, but I feel they're important to add nevertheless!
Clover: A sequel to 8-Ball, this would be diving into Alastor's generational trauma and backstory, accompanying him through his first experiences with paternal instinct...and murderous ones as well.
If this fic idea does come to fruition, it would probably be after UT is better established and 8 Ball is complete.
Yet To Be Named: A family reunion in heaven that Lucifer takes Alastor to on the pure basis of "My family would despise you and I can't wait to piss them off". Chaos goes on from there. I'd really like to try writing a QPR with them for this idea. I'm toying with the idea of making this into a long-form comic, though there is still a chance of it becoming a fic instead.
Early Mornings: Sequel to Late Nights from Lucifer's perspective. We'll see what happens--I have a draft written but I'm not fond of it at the moment.
