08.04.21 • I ’ve been feeling so proud of myself and so capable lately. Since my dissertation presentation went beyond my expectations, I’ve been feeling like I can do literally anything I put hard work and effort into. It’s such a wonderful feeling since I’ve been struggling for a while now with uni and rough patches. ♡

When I'm out and about I will almost invariably order an iced caramel macchiato. You cannot convince me there is a better option.

I think it can be refreshing and nice but I much prefer the feeling of coming in from the cold! I've been raking leaves in the garden this morning to get over what happened in Washington DC last night and now I'm moving onto my next essay. X Emily

5/100, 20.02.2020 after finishing up some minor tasks, I finally get to sit down and work on my thesis. received a phone call today that finally confirmed my enrollment into law school this year! super excited to start this new chapter, moving and all that good stuff that is to come. for now, I’m enjoying this frothy coffee and my new calendar that I got yesterday. (moleskine, weekly calendar, a long-time favorite of mine 📖)

Today for some reason I woke up quite inspired to write?? So I wrote part of my review on Georg Simmel bc there’ll be a test on his work next month

today was truly a ‘lets-cross-lots-of-things-off-my-to-do-list’ day!! also got my bujo up to date and started planning dissertation things.. summer holidays absolutely do not exist between 2nd and 3rd year 🍃✍️

What is the coolest gift you ever gave someone?I think the coolest gift I ever gave was the gift I gave to my boyfriend last year, I got him an xbox, he was so excited because his old one was near its breaking point and he uses it to watch netflix and stuff, he was so happy when he got it it was worth spending the money :).
