( hunter parrish, male, he/him ) → hey JULIAN HAWTHORNE! you should be more careful at RESTOBAR its not safe for a 30 year old around here, you know. come to think of it, i did actually hear someone say that you were PROTECTIVE, PRAGMATIC, VALIANT and IMPATIENT, COMPULSIVE , SELF-INDULGENT though. so maybe year you can handle yourself?Â
it’s me with another stupid character love me
JULIAN WADE HAWTHORNE was born 12 minutes older than William ( running joke between the two is he stayed way longer in the womb ) and he takes that 12 minutes difference seriously. Aside from their physical attributes, the similarity between the twins almost end there. Growing up, Liam will always get in trouble and Julian just get dragged along. Liam will always be the rowdy one and Julian is the eloquent one. Liam always have a youthful streak in him while Julian acts like he is about to go through a midlife crisis. Julian is more into business casual style while Liam is laid back ( think Jules as Hunter in Quantico and Liam is Hunter in Weeds ). You get the picture. Here's the comparison chart ( play him if ya nasty ).
Despite the difference, they rarely fight even if Julian constantly annoys Liam with his fatherly tendencies. Though to be fair, Liam annoys Julian just as much. Jules and Liam really bonded over ice hockey. Liam is the one who got them into hockey when they were eight but Jules had learned to love it…become great at it even.
When their little sister was born, they got her into the ice as soon as she was able to do so. Liam was pretty much thankful she was born because at least Julian's attention was diverted. With their parents off abroad most of the time, Julian steps up as the parental figure to all of them.
The twins had flourished in ice hockey, they knew they'll get recruited in EIHL when they are the right age but both of the twins got their father's ambitiousness. EIHL was apparently not big enough for them, seeing the trend of worn out players of AHL , those who didn't make it to NHL, go to the UK to play ( though technically, EIHL is a major league, it seems like a downgrade ).
An opportunity came for the twins when they were 18 as both of them were drafted to play for Texas Stars in AHL's Western conference and so they made their transfer, leaving their little sister, Ruby behind.
The twins tried to make it work, bouncing from Texas to London whenever they have the opportunity and though they are aware it was making their sister's life difficult for them as she has to constantly adjust their life for them.
This resulted in Julian spoiling his sister, trying to make up for all the times she had to make adjustments for them ( yes, Hawthornes move their holidays and birthdays just so they can celebrate it together, non-negotiable ) and also to wash off the guilt he feels.
Time flies for the twins, only two years playing in the AHL and they were both qualified to be drafted in NHL. Liam ranked 11th and closed behind, Julian ranked 12th the year they got drafted in Major League. Boston Bruins got dibs on Liam while the New York Rangers got dibs on Julian. Half way through college, the twins had moved again, Julian in New York and enrolled in Columbia University ( he studied Business Management ) and Liam moved to Massachusetts and enrolled in MIT ( the guy is a little shit but he is an engineering genius ).
This made things difficult for the family now the twins are apart. A solution was made; they moved the little sister with Julian, just a two hour drive away if they wanted to be together.
For a while, it worked out, but with the twins apart, the more realized he was doing it because he was just taking any chances to connect with his brother and though he was enjoying it, making a great deal of living off of it, it was simply not his passion. Plus, with his divided attention, her sister was getting into sorts of trouble to get their attention.
Julian decided to have an early retirement and not renew his contract and move to back to Texas because as much as he had spent more time in New York, Texas felt more like home.
TLDR; Let me spare you with the boring details. Basically, Julian has a twin brother and a little sister. Born and raised in England into a family with old money. Moved to Texas to play ice hockey on bigger leagues, became an NHL superstar or whatever at 20 then had an early retirement at 27 and moved back to Texas.
 MORE FACTS/PERSONALITY
They are Valentine's Day babies so they were born in November. The twins are Scorpions.
Julian’s jersey number is #11 and his Hockey nickame is Hawwy.
Julian may seem uptight ( coz most of the time he is ) but like most humans, he loosens up with the right amount of alcohol.
His current net worth is estimated to be around $45M but only a quarter of it was from NHL. At age 23, he started investing his earnings on the family company, making one of the shareholders. He also put stocks on blooming companies.. In addition to that, he earns from modelling campaigns. He doesn’t do runway shows anymore as he is more focused on his business and raising Ruby.
Since this is fantasy, Julian’s height is 5’11 okay. Hunter is 5’8 i cant.
He probably dated a VS model before because again this is fantasy.Â
He is not a household name but if you care about sports and modelling stuff and follows Barstool Sports or spends more time in YouTube more than necessary, he might be familiar. Probably.
He has 2.3M followers on instagram. He is basically more popular than Hunter Parrish on insta lmao
Julian had bought a property in Evenwood that made him ultimately decided to do an early retirement. A two story building with an underground/basement space. Julian had turn the building into a restobar where people can dine and wine and also enjoy music. It’s called Howitzer, coined after a hockey shot and holds open mic every Friday where people reads poetry or sing their original song. There will always be a band playing for the rest of the week.
Knowing Texans love to party a lot, Julian had also turned the underground space into a weekend bar called Hook, coined after a penalty in ice hockey.
