i may be wrong but I feel some of your drawings seem to draw a striking resemblance to you. Do you ever use yourself as inspiration/ a self portrait or is it just coincidence.

I've had people before saying that I look like my art which I take as a sweet compliment, but I honestly dont see it hahah,, I'm sure the resemblance happens subconsciously

I only use myself as reference sometimes and for small things like getting the base anatomy right or hand pose for example!

this is a little personal but i have a life update that I'm nervously hopeful about,, I'm moving countries in a month! closer to family who will help with the care and treatment of my chronically disabled mom so that I'm not the primary caretaker anymore and can hopefully just..breathe and live

it's busy rn trying to prepare everything and feeling anxious about the change but for a lot of reasons it seems to be for the best,, and i can finally actually think and plan and save money for another move to live with my partner in the future when things settle, i feel a huge weight lifted 🥹

#i've been drained for years and thinking about the possibility of putting myself and my life first feels overwhelming
