Hello, followers! Have I told you how beautiful you look on this crisp autumn day? Did you ever think you would see this day, dear followers, when your honorable Webmistress would stoop to the level of a common link peddler?

Haha, sorry to be a little weird there. Been listening to a lot of Night Vale, you know the drill. Anyway, some of you may know (especially those who happen to follow my sort-of-currently-abandoned personal blog) that I write Jhonen Vasquez fanfiction. For a long time it was mostly Zim stuff, but I have been posting chapters to a rather large, pseudo-crossover Johnny the Homicidal Maniac story called “Apartment Story.” 

The basic premise of the story is that Johnny finds a violently orphaned Gaz (yes, that Gaz) while out walking one evening, and dumps her on the miraculously still-alive Edgar Vargas to look after. The three of them end up spending more time together than any of them had originally intended, and form a sort of nightmarish family that none of them knew they needed.

Normally I wouldn’t ever be the kind of person to shamelessly advertise my own fanfiction, BUT I just uploaded chapter 8, which is one of my favorites. Also I am weak, with human blood in my veins and human faults in my brains.

SO, dear followers, if you think that you’d like to check out my story, that’d be just awesome. If you maybe wanted to leave a review or two, that would be spectacular. Wonderful. I’d be forever in your debt. Or, hell, if you read the thing and think it’s trash, that’d be cool to review about too. There’s no such thing as bad feedback. 

Hello, darlings. Your slightly-frazzled-but-mostly-intact webmistress is back, after a fashion. My courseload is lighter than it was, but still not gone, so I can’t promise I’ll be 100% perfect about posting every day, but I’m going to try my damnest and hopefully as my academic life starts to calm down, things will get back to normal around here.

There are quite a few confessions backlogged, and I have every intention of posting them all, so keep your eyes open if you submitted one before the hiatus! New confessions will, of course, be posted as well, just not until after the oldies have gone up. So feel free to submit if you’re patient!

Hey guys. The Webmistress here. I’m afraid I’m going to have to put the blog on hiatus for a few weeks. It’s nothing personal, and it has nothing to do with loss of interest and everything to do with the chaos that is my life right now. My anxiety, depression and academic workload are really conspiring against me. It’s just not fair to you for me to maintain something that I can’t devote my full attention to, and it’s not fair to me to add an additional project on top of the eight hours a day I spend studying, to say nothing of the time in lecture, lab, two to three tests per week, keeping my family together, and, you know, sleep.

Anyway, I’m going to be meeting with my doctor again in a few weeks so that we can discuss shuffling around medications, and hopefully that, combined with better time management, will help me pull myself back together soon. I love running this blog and have no intention of leaving you all hanging, I just think it would be better to take a break so that when I come back, I can make sure everything is at 100%.

I’m going to leave the box open so that people can continue submitting, and I am so, so sorry if you’ve submitted something that hasn’t gone up yet, because it’s going to be a few weeks before it will go live. I feel very badly about accepting things that I can’t get to right now, but I promise they will all go up once I come back and am feeling better.
