Fassler Hall is more than just beerNow I'm a regular at Fassler Hall at least once a month, where I attend a board game meet up. Today though I visited with the family for food. I started with some Duck Fat Fries. The portions is pretty big so it's easily shareable. Fassler has recently updated their menu to include some more traditional German food but I still go for the traditional Bratwurst with kraut & mustard!! And yes I had a beer... trying to be better this year so instead of getting the usual Liter I opted for the 1/2 Liter!!

So along with food I love a good Bloody Mary, I've had them here before but our waitress didn't ask if I wanted it Spicy and I forgot to ask.... Do your self a favor don't forget to ask for it spicy!!!!!

One thing about the Cheese Cake Factory is the menu is huge..4 to 5 pages, 2 inserts and a "skinny options menu".. so you can go here every night for a month and never have to order the same thing. This time I decided to try the White Chicken Chili. I was surprised at first because another thing to know about this place is the portions are typically large enough to share but the chili was about what you would expect in a single serving portion and it was GOOD!!! I would definitely add it to my list of favorites at the Cheese Cake Factory!!!

Brunch at Cafe Antigua Now I usually get an Americana, they have an awesome espresso bar, this time I had a green tea latte and it is my new favorite! Maya had a fruit salad and a strawberry smoothie.... she didn't care for the smoothie because it was unsweetened, lol, but I enjoyed it!!! This is my favorite breakfast spot and I've tried a lot of the menu, this time I went with the Machaca Omelette.. it was very good. As usual another great experience at Cafe Antigua!

So I heard about their Pollo La Brasa on Facebook and knew I had to try it! So I drug my daughter out to La Brasa. We started with their version of Mexican Corn. I normally don't care for the mayonnaise based sauces but the sauces on these were exceptional, so much so I tried a couple other places but no ones was as good as these!!!

Everything about this dish, the sides, the Sauces, and even the Oklahoma Shaped wood cutting board it's served on was just awesome!!! It comes in a full and half chicken serving so it should be perfect to share!
