jasper had been standing where he was for quite some time but not long enough to be caught just yet, he couldn’t bring himself to approach her so quickly when she seems to be in the zone, completely lost in the song she was singing wholeheartedly. it was no secret that she was a good singer and to hear her sing so well, it only proved to him just how she was able to be where she was and it was all thanks to her talent and hard work. he simply just had to let himself admire her singing capabilities for as long as he could, stay hidden for as long as he could.

he had a plan that day, a simple plan that was simple enough to follow through. that was to arrive earlier than their agreed time that day somewhere in town but instead, he decided to pick her up at her apartment since he got off from university earlier than expected. with a smile and good spirit to start their day together, which was something he always looks forward to because she had always been fun to be with. when he didn’t receive any answer at the door, he eventually welcomed himself in when he noticed the door was unlocked.

with renovations happening all over the neighborhood he lived in, it was almost impossible to concentrate on anything else besides the drilling noises outside during the day. it came to the point that he couldn’t take it any longer and decided to rent out a hotel during the entire weekend when he didn’t have anything to do but to rest and catch up on his slumber.

the night was young, at least according to the insomniac law student, even though most stores were already closed except for the very few convenience store that he purchased plenty of snacks and drinks that could last him for a few nights. as frustrating as it was that he couldn’t get proper sleep during the night, he had grown accustomed to the lifestyle due to the endless night he had experienced countless times. instead, he tries to put his attention elsewhere and uses the time to catch up on other things he wouldn’t otherwise be able to do during the day.

he hadn’t gone far away from the store he came out of when he saw two men by the alley nearby. he didn’t need much to pick up the scene as someone was being verbally attacked with some kind of weapon from the masked man. “fucking great..” jasper would never be someone who would simply turn away from a crime when it was happening right before him – it would be expected as well since he aspires to be a criminal lawyer soon – hence why he didn’t hesitate on approaching the two men. 

                    Shay couldn’t stop laughing when he finally said yes, as she tired to cover her mouth ‘’ Hmm place, yes i heard of a place here in seoul but i don’t know if it’s open yet, i think they have been closed for winter, but i heard it’s a good place to try it out on’’ she nodded as she looked at him ‘’ we should research it to be sure.’’

“hm, we should before we head out. it’s better to be sure than to be left disappointed.” he then took out his phone to look up any establishment that would offer such an extreme activity. jasper took the time to look at which one were the nearest and had good reviews, though when he checked most of them, they were mostly closed during the season. “ah, what a waste.. you’re right. most are closed during winter for some reason. should we think of something else, i don’t know, maybe less dangerous and daring?”
