J.P. Howard & Company was awarded Local Disadvantage Business Enterprise (LDBE) status by the Metropolitan Washington Airport Authorities (MWAA) on March 30, 2013. MWAA's 1500 employees operate two major airports in the National Capital Region provided both domestic and international service to Washington, D.C., the Dulles Toll Road, and are managing the extension of Metrorail service on WMATA's forthcoming Silver Line. MWAA awarded JPHC LDBE status for Administrative Management and General Management Consulting Services (NAICS 541611), Research and Development in the Social Sciences and Humanities (NAICS 541720), and Other Management Consulting Services (NAICS 541618).
