When I was in high school, I had a day off for some reason but so did my Dad. This was rare. He decided to take me out for a Dad & Daughter day. We took the 3 train down to 34th street. He wanted me to get some new clothes and shoes. We went to Strawberry and Rainbow. I got 3 body suits, 2 turtle necks, a black corduroy jumper, 1 pair of dress slacks, 1 pair of jeans and a pair of Skechers

We were done 2 hrs after we started. He laughed and said "Well, that was easy." I joked, "I know what I like and clothing shopping is not it. I got some core pieces I can layer with."

We walked up to Tad's on 42nd and had a lunch of steak, baked potatoes and salad. We went home and watched game shows.

To everyone who tells me I have so much to live for cause I have a kid 🖕🏾

I realize I have no friends... Just people I know and interact with

I grew up with shoes being ok in house

My Dad's Electrolux did wonders

Now, even with the Dyson in my house, please be comfortable leaving your shoes at the door.

I walk through too much pee to think you don't

On Tuesday, I was 1 minute away from being on the N train with the incident. That was my early train. I dragged my feet then caught the next one and sat there thinking it was just a fire. I ended up walking an hour in the rain to get another train to work. Told my boss that afternoon, I wasn't coming in the next day. I have the time. Took the day yesterday to relax, went to the zoo. Today I still don't feel right. I vented to my roommate. Usually I make dinner but he was ok with Totinos and a strawberry milkshake. I told him I would just be taking a bath and chilling. He gave me some comfort and told me, roll your blunt and go lay down. He ain't a smoker himself.
