I’m still processing the whole episode but MAN.

•Firstly: A HUGE SHOUTOUT TO THE VOICE ACTORS, ARTISTS/ANIMATORS, SONG WRITERS, AND GOOSEWORX FOR THIS ROLLERCOASTER OF AN EPISODE!!💛😭 @justtheclippy amazing work as Ragatha!!

•Secondly: the whole horror sequence and Caine’s crash out- chilling and truly so well done, that sh*t was disturbing and all I had ever hoped for in an episode. (Especially Ragatha’s horror scene😭definitely reminded me of some childhood stuff around that subject- but like seeing her character still persist throughout the show even after dealing with all that and the memories it’s left her with ;u; she’s trying her best💛🫂she deserves so much gentle love) I just had to draw something regarding this scene with how impactful it is. I also didn’t realize on the speedpaint video that the background if toggled off would just show up as a black canvas in post video- I can’t really fix that but hopefully it’s still fun to watch ^u^

•I think another favorite scene was when Pomni started talking back to Caine, along with everyone else, to keep him distracted right before the cast ends up tossed into the horror sequences for it- and Caine’s whole avatar shifting into this being of anger with multiple arms. Incredible. Terrifying to think that I might see someone in a vrchat circus instance eventually come running up to me in a Caine avatar modeled after that😳🫡

So happy I finished this thing before ep 8 oof

Anyway, the comic was born out of

my thoughts about Caine's model lacking many essential facial features (as if he was never intended to show any emotions) and yet him being literally the most expressive character in the circus despite everything.

me being low-key obsessed with the implications episode 7 left us with. Players questioning everything they've been told and Caine being in the center of it all.

I want them all to be healed and happy, little guy absolutely included, but man the situation is rough, and the odds are against us
