It's officially my birthday week. Currently in Vancouver BC for the @phocumentary and while I could be out having drinks with the guys, I have chosen wine by myself in the classy, cozy highrise that we're staying in. The past couple years were a little rough when its come to my birthday (not bad, just rough) and I can proudly proclaim that the blood, sweat, tears and extremely hard work that I put in for 2016 has paved the path for a beautiful 29th lap around the sun. Life doesn't always give us what we want, but it never seems to fail at giving us what we need and if we can learn to work with that, we can come out on top with even better results than we ever expected. I have a ridiculous amount to be grateful for and proud of this year and it's all because I persevered and stepped out of my comfort zone; I trusted myself and I trusted my determination.
