‘‘Is Kelly Rowland the one in that banger song with Nelly? It was my jam when I was… eight?’‘ Leia ran her fingers through her long hair, letting them cascade behind her as she looked as her friend’s moves. ‘‘You’re like a white Prince. Show me that these hips do!’‘ She clapped her hands, giggling at how ridiculous he looked. ‘‘More! More! Do the sprinter!’‘

“Hey, lumberjacks are hot. I’d go for a lumberjack who could throw me over his shoulder like chopped wood. He can give me his wood any day,” he snerked, laughing and taking out his phone to play a couple of songs.

Jordan laughed when Leia asked him to do more moves. He decided he was going for broke with the silliness. He did the sprinter, the lawnmower, the sprinkler, and then pushed her down on the couch again and gave her a silly lapdance. “Am I hotter than Britney yet?”

‘‘I don’t want to make assumptions but I feel like Captain Canada and you have a lot in common… and I’m not talking about the very dapper prime minister Trudeau,’‘ she shook her head with a chuckle.

‘‘Whaaaat? You learned it without me? How dare you! I feel betrayed, confused and shamelessly excited about our night!’‘ Leia moved his head from her lap and stood up, hands on her hips with a wide smile curving the side of her lips as soon as her drink was down onto the coffee table. ‘‘I’m Beyoncé you can be Michelle. I’m also craving macarons now that you mentioned it. Do you know a good french bakery open 24/7?’’ What were the odds…

“Is Captain Canada hot?! The Canadian prime minister is hot, I’d nail him, even if he isn’t the best politician out there,” he said, wrinkling his nose and laughing loudly.

“Hey! You got wasted, remember? But I don’t know it perfectly. So I’ll need a refresher course,” he said, reaching up to boop her nose playfully. “Why do I have to be Michelle?! I wanna be Kelly Rowland. “Baby, I’mma be your motivation, oh, oh, oh, ooohhh!” he sang, shaking his hips and grinning that sunshine grin of his. He just wanted to make Leia smile again. It wasn’t fair that her boyfriend turned out to be such a dickbag.

‘‘Are you trying to say we’ll find our own personal Danny Zuko this summer?’‘ She gasped audibly, trying to sound as surprised as she was amused. ‘‘We’re both into lovers with nice hair, chin dimples and leather jacket. It makes sense. It makes a lot of sense!’‘ She laughed as she looked down at him, a smile tugging at her lips. Leia loved how light things were, whenever Jordan was around. She was mad at her ex and sad (even if she wasn’t going to admit it), and he was making things so much better only by being himself. 

‘‘Oh Leia, please, tell me I’m the best skater, tell me how blue my eyes are,’‘ she said trying to mimic him, but she failed miserably and giggled too much to make any sense. ‘‘I’m not going to cry or that guy, but if you have a baseball bat I suggest you take it away from me when Queen B will be on! Now, pour yourself a glass of wine boy cause we’re going to learn the single ladies choreography!’‘ A terrible idea already.

“Yes we are. We’re gonna get some sexy lovers who want us and love our souls and buy us pink macaroons with lemon filling,” he said with a bright smile.

“What? A man likes to hear truths about himself from others at times... I have eyes so blue you could swim in them. I’m such a good skater that I’m teaching others how to do it. I’m a real life Captain Planet writing a book about how you can stop the deterioration of our planet,” he said, laughing and shaking his head.

“I happen to be an amazing dancer! I may or may not already even KNOW that routine!” he exclaimed, laughing softly.

‘‘His dick wasn’t that big, his breath could kill small animals in the morning and… I guess what I loved the most about him was how much my father hated him!’‘ She sighed, mainly to herself, before taking a sip of wine. ‘‘I can’t believe I’m not even able to appreciate this fine bottle of wine because of him! Urgh!’‘ She raised her glass like the mighty Thor would raise his hammer to the sky, and ended up bringing it back to her lips for another sip.

‘‘You don’t require constant attention? Say that again, but make it believable this time,’‘ she teased him, her manicured fingers moving gently through his brown hair as soon as he rested his head on her lap. ‘‘You’ll have wine all over your pretty shirt if I do that,’’ but she obliged, and for half the sip he got into his mouth the rest dripped down his chin. ‘‘Oupsie daisy,’‘ she smiled widely. ‘’Lick yourself clean there’s no way I’ll walk to the kitchen to get you a towel,’’ she giggled. 

“Oh, if you need a guy that your father will hate, I can recommend like ten candidates, daisy,” he said, chuckling softly. Jordan enjoyed spending time with Leia. She was one of his best friends and a shoulder to cry on when things got rough. There was no way in hell he wasn’t going to be there for her during such a difficult time in her life. “Who said you couldn’t? You’re going to enjoy that bottle MORE now than you would have with him. And you’re coming with me to San Diego this summer so we can pick up some hot boys and have summer romances,” he said, reaching up to twirl one of her dark locks in his finger.

He grinned when she didn’t buy that he didn’t need constant attention. Jordan could be a bit of a diva sometimes, but he truly wasn’t that bad. “Whaaat? I call you drunk once or twice, and suddenly I’m high maintenance?!” he joked. He had definitely called more than that. Jordan tried to keep up with the drizzle of wine into his mouth but got some down his chin and he laughed, trying not to choke. He licked his lips and wiped his chin with his shirt. Luckily it was dark.

“Nobody’s leaving this couch until all the tears have cried. We’re gonna blast Beyonce and Nicki Minaj if we have to,” he said, laughing and blowing Leia a kiss.

Job

Since I didn’t get to RP much about him working in construction, I’m going to retcon that and have him just having quit his job at Press Juice.

He’s take up a full-time job working at the Skate Park (ʷᵉ ᵍᵒᵗᵗᵃ ᶜᵒᵐᵉ ᵘᵖ ʷᶤᵗʰ ᵃ ᵍᵒᵒᵈ ᶰᵃᵐᵉ ᶠᵒʳ ᶤᵗ ᶤ ᵗʰᶤᶰᵏ) with @casparrjones. He’s also signed on to handle sales and revenue operations, obtaining skateboards from Eco-friendly suppliers that hand-craft sustainable wood boards and use water-based finishers and offering specialized classes at higher premiums. He’s going to be brainstorming with his friend for ideas to make that the best skate park in the city.

He still skateboards to work in a suit when there’s an important meeting because he’s extra like that.

Love Life

Derrick blushed softly when the other said that he wanted him. He looked up at Jordan and grinned easily at the other. “I will… promise.” Feeling Jordan’s hands brushing down his body felt too good to put into words. Jordan’s hands were large and felt so good on his body.

“It’s been awhile… Go easy on me…?” His voice was a soft whine as the other’s lips teased his body. Sure, he had slept with Ben a few times recently. But besides him there had been no one. And Derrick still wasn’t totally comfortable in his body quite yet.”

“You’re incredibly hot,” he said softly. Jordan nodded when Derrick asked him to go easy on him. He kissed him softly, taking his time to explore his smooth, inked skin. Jordan’s big blue eyes peered up at him occasionally, and then his hand finally found Derrick’s shaft. He began to stroke him slowly, bringing his lips back to Derrick’s neck.
