He enters the tent, realising Edward is still alive and resolving to sit aside him to offer what little comfort he can before the man finally succumbs.

Little raises his head, and his dull-eyed gaze just a fraction, leans in close to Crozier, trying to speak.

Crozier draws closer in kind, hoping to catch Edward's final words.

But then, summoning the very, very last of his strength, Little lunges forward and rips Crozier's throat out with his fuckin' teeth.

"Good luck, Edward."

Ok I was planning on going to bed early but I just had to finish this "cover" and upload it before sleeping.

This fic is an AU set in 1966 San Francisco! To me, that era has a very distinct visual aesthetic, and I wanted to make new art that reflected that.
