② Them who still shine, SHINee’s promotion needs to go on

The boys who’re like sprouts in spring have grown into strong trees in no time. 12 years passed. they became memories to someone, youth to someone. it’s even more meaningful that their time is present progressive. It’s a story about a group that’s still shining, SHINee

SHINee debuted with ‘Replay’ on 25th May 2008 and created a sensation with their matchless visuals of handsome boys and concepts that weren’t being done before, as soon as they appear. Primary color pants that were said that only female idols could pull off became their trademark.

SHINee’s image is different from the image one would think of when it comes to ‘SM idol.’ Their music style is very different from dbsk and sj who debuted before them. Rather than following a trend as a contemporary band, they tend to lead them.

SHINee’s music is experimental. Sometime there would be reviews on how hard it is to understand them. Even so, SHINee always presents music of a high level of completion, especially when it comes to listening to keywords in the songs and interpreting them and that forms the foundation of an enthusiast fandom. ‘SHINee is not an idol group, they have reformed into a brand.’ Most would be prepared to listen to the title track that is in the chart when an idol’s album is being released but for SHINee 'let’s listen to all of the songs first’ is how most would react. It’s a must to mention SHINee’s perfectly in sync (knife-like) dance moves. 'It’s a stage worth watching’ is why SHINee’s unique music style is well-loved for a long time. The story they tell in their choreographies expands the view of the world in the song and gave off a feeling of watching a musical with their well-organized performances. Given the nickname ’Performance masters’ with them presenting stages that even non-fans couldn’t take their eyes off. 

Promoting for already 12 years, from rookies, SHINee has become a longevity idol in no time. However, different from the other longevity idols who showed mature charms, SHINee still shows new and fresh charms. That’s all because they maintained their basic concept while keep on challenging. no noise/(conflict/negativity) among the members is also one of the secrets to their longevity. They maintained their strong teamwork while doing their own solo works. There are lots of situations where longevity idols would move to individual companies and come together again, however, that is something that doesn’t apply to SHINee at all. This is why their debut 12th anniversary is special.
