This war needs information

The White House's program of spying on its own citizens as well as others around the globe is a defacto declaration of war against the rest of us, and the assertion of its authority to control the rest of us. President Obama, in his speech regarding the use of the illegal, warrentless PRISM surveillance service has declared that his vision of security trumps everyone's own right to determine their own security and privacy.

We must push back. People are scared, yes. The constant fear mongering about terrorism, and the intimidation and bullying form the government with its own threats of what it will do to those who don't comply is truly scary, and those with something to lose may think they're making the calculating choice that going along is simply the better course. Sorry... you can't ride this one out.

But there are those of us who live without that fear. Who invite the chase, and wave bright flags at the bulls. You can still do what's right, and feel just fine about it by working with those of us.
