--WELCOME TO THE BATTLE SUBWAY
It was the usual today for Emmet, except that he was currently working overtime due to his brother’s absence. Ingo had gone on some sort of business trip and had left him to hold down the fort, much to his dismay. All this work was leaving the younger twin more scatterbrained and tired than usual. Despite these hardships he kept right on smiling. He had to admit that he missed his twin, though.
Now Emmet was on a much needed break. Of a sort. He kept around so he could monitor the subway. Occasionally, but not often, there would be muggings or the a disgruntled traveler that Emmet would throw out or calm down. He prayed that today would no be one of those days.
Oh, would Ingo pay for this.
So far things were going smooth. The visitors were content and full of life, to his pleasure. Happy customers meant a busy Subway, and a busy subway meant a happy Ingo that would be as pleased as punch at Emmet’s operation of the Battle Subway by himself. Posture slightly slumped, he straightened himself up. He had several more hours to go until he could leave for home.
He had just settled an infuriating argument on sandwiches that they had never sold when someone bumped into him. He turned on a foot, looking downwards at the person on the floor. It was a girl, no more than 18, who had landed straight onto the cold pavement. Emmet flinches, kneeling down in order to help her. “Are you alright?"
★Crystal groaned, and rubbed her head. The aforementioned tall man kneeled down to help her up. She took his outstretched hand, and gingerly got up on shaky knees. Perfect. She was here for barely 10 minutes, and she made a fool of herself. "I-I'm so sorry, sir!"
As she looked up, she saw Gold zip off. What was he even doing here...? Whatever, he had probably came to gamble. Crys shook her head. She'd worry about him later. She avoided looking at her the man that helped her up as she put her fallen items back into her bag.
Ok. Why wasn't this guy moving to leave? Shouldn't he be gone by now? Crystal mentally cursed her luck. When the silence stretched too long, she started to speak. "Um, do you know anyone by the name of Emmet? I was sent to find him."
