Well April 28 I turned 53. Thank God I do not look at and as I explore the dating scene once again I have to admit that dating women my age has not been anything close to enjoyable. I have always seen age as a number but unfortunately not everyone agrees.
Personally I have always preferred dating younger women. I have only dated a few women my age and the experience was very lack luster to see the least. I still prefer younger women for three primary reasons. The first is there seems to be less drama because they do not get heavily attached and do not seem to be emotionally unstable, especially if they enjoy dating older men. The second is spending time together is very rewarding because we both enjoy it but because she is younger she has a life of her own and is always willing to give me space. The third reason is most younger women that I prefer do not yet have children and that is a big plus because I never want to get to know a child and then the mother and I stop seeing each other and that has a negative impact.
I'm interested in learning what both female and male points of view may be shared. I would date a woman my age if we had chemistry and could take things naturally without jumping through hoops or making promises just to get to a certain point in the relationship.
Just curious to see any responses!
