so, does that mean we already know what happens when jaune decides to boost himself instead of other people? he either reflected the energy of the punch onto cardin, or jaune became a completely immovable object and cardin did the equivalent of punching a led wall. 

does that mean jaune has a semblance similar to tock’s, where he can grant himself temporary invulnerability? we know jaune used up his aura trying to mask the ship in the volume 6 finale, but he has the potential for his invulnerability to last longer than 60 seconds. but the interesting thing is, tock plays a much more offensive role, so her invulnerability makes sense to last a short amount of time, while jaune is a support and will be much less likely to waste his abilities keeping himself safe. 

Jolting in surprise, she whirls back around to find Jaune has moved closer again and now his hand is on hers. He isn’t looking at her, but he’s smiling.

“Th-This is nice, huh?”

Pyrrha realizes just then that this isn’t the kind of ‘outing’ she’d been under the impression it was.

With classes, I haven’t had a lot of free time to do doodles or warmups that aren’t directly commission related, so I was glad to have a morning to myself today to work on that before my evening is swallowed up by a friend’s bachelor party.
