here are some resources that i use when sprite editing:

ultimate homestuck character creation template by Games4me/ManDownstairs on deviantart - this one has afaik all the sprites from homestuck already separated to individual parts like hair, clothes, horns, etc. super helpful if you're a beginner in sprite editing, just clean up the latula/mituna body sprite if you want a blank slate of a sprite base. i've personally used this since like. gee idk 2014? it doesn't have any parts from homestuck^2 however so you might have to scour for that on your own. here is a version without a transparent background if you use a program that doesn't support transparent layers like ms paint. some previews:

it also has all the god tier outfits (sans muse) plus the color palette and symbols for each aspect!

sprite sheet by tajazzled on deviantart/fan-troll on tumblr - the only sprite sheet i use other than the one above. this one has a pretty nice blank canvas sprite and a lot of heels with differing heights that you can use as a base for editing your own fancy pair of shoes. there are plenty of other very nicely sprited items such as hair, shoes, outfits, horns, etc. that you can use! just be sure to credit the template author for their work. some previews:

hands by Skogsbrynet on deviantart - not for the armless sprite editing but VERY HELPFUL if you like making alterniabound/openbound-style talksprites! it compiles pretty much all of the hands each of the talksprites have so it's pretty handy (pun not intended) if you don't feel like drawing them every time you're making different emotes with your character sprite. some previews:

these are the things i use that i could think of right now, will probably update if something else comes to mind or if i stumble across more good resources. you can always search deviantart for outfits and hair, there are plenty of people that make good free to use bases if you have trouble with spriting them!
