YOU WERE HAVING THE WORST DAY.
You had been bragging to everyone the whole week that you finally understood a concept in your physics class.
It was only the beginning of the school year, but it was a pretty tough class for you to fully grasp every concept.
You, being a 4.0 student things that usually come easy to you except for physics.
You had gone into your exam pretty confident that you would pass.
As you waited one week to get your results, you definitely were not happy with them.
The results ended up ruining your entire day so you decided not to talk to anyone and just get over the fact that you failed.
You started to feel guilty when you notice your boyfriend, Juhoon constantly texting you to check in on you.
You had sent him a quick text message saying “sorry I’m not having the best day and I just don’t wanna take it out on you on accident.”
After that, you had ended up falling asleep and you woke up to the sound of your doorbell.
You got up from your bed, groaning at the fact that you were woken up from your beauty sleep and had failed your exam.
You open the door and are met with the sight of Juhoon with a bouquet of roses and chocolates.
“Surprise, baby.” he says, letting out a slight chuckle.
You hadn’t smiled all day, but you could feel the corners of your mouth, lifting just at the sight of him.
“You got me flowers!” you say, stepping outside to wrap yourself around him.
His arms immediately find their way to your waist. “I wanted to make you feel better.”
“I love you.” You say, burying your face into his neck.
“I love you too.” he says, lifting your feet from the ground, which makes you immediately wrap your legs around him.
He walks you back inside of your house, putting the flowers and chocolates down on the counter never putting you down.
You stay in his arms, gently closing your eyes and tightening the hold of your arms around his neck.
He walks into your room and gently places you down on the bed.
“Lay down.” he says patting on your pillow.
You don’t say anything and just follow what he says then you feel the bed dip beside you.
Juhoon pulls you closer placing your head on his chest and gently rubbing circles onto your back.
You can tell him peppering kisses onto the top of your head.
“How’d do you always know how to make me happy?” You say whispering softly.
“I just know you.” he says. “You shouldn’t let one exam ruin your entire day.”
“I know, but it’s hard when I’m not used to failing.” you say.
“I get that but you’re the smartest girl I know and you’re gonna understand it sooner or later so don’t get worked up about it.” Juhoon says.
“I’ll try but no promises.” you say smiling into his chest. “Now enough school talk let me enjoy your warmth.”
“Your wish is my command.” he says laughing at you.
God how much you loved that laugh.
No matter what happened one thing would always remain the same.
Juhoon was your happy place.
