And 2)...another person made a video abt how there is an ancient maya queen which has been found in a temple and her tomb is a red cube. RED. like completely red with MERCURY. which if you look it up * she did * looks exactly like sopro. And she is breaking down the entire ateez lore rn (she barely gets any views now but she made a video years ago about how the cromer broke and it honestly still seems to be correct. and the videos are literally up to 10 mins long so it's perfect for doing a lil cleaning on the side lollll even though you can barely do anything cuz u need to pay attention but what she is saying makes so much sense)

So if anyone wants some creator recs for ateez lore i have accounts i recommend! The fourth one i cannot find rn 😭😭 she was the one with the maya tomb!! Pls feel free to add

Which is (sort of) the same thing Yeosang did when he brought Sopro out of World Z and kept her safe until Wooyoung swallowed her and woke her up, essentially giving birth to her.

Now I'm thinking about how connected Yeosang is to the bluebird and...

Basically what I'm getting at is that if Wooyoung is Sopro's mother bird, I would argue that Yeosang is her father bird.

The quote on the left is often falsely attributed to Martin Luther or Martin Luther King, and in the original quote the blank space is "apple". The quote means that "even if you are not going to reap the benefits of an action you must still do it because it is the right thing to do". It is quite fitting for ATEEZ, who liberated World Z of Z's oppressive regime even though it was not their own world and couldn't enjoy the result because they were immediately sent back to World A.

The quote on the right is from William Tell. He was a rebel against a tyrannical local leader in Switzerland. When he went against the tyrant, he was forced to shoot an apple on top of his son's head with an arrow to regain his freedom. He succeeds but since he reveals his intention to kill the tyrant he is still captured. While he was being taken to the dungeon with a boat a storm breaks out. Fearing the boat would sink, the soldiers free Tell to save the situation, but he sails into rocks and escapes.

Both quotes are attributed to revolutionary figures, which may mean we are going back to our World Z storyline.

The blue poster has a lot to unpack. Starting with the burning, torn down buildings, they remind me so much of Halazia.

This isn't the only Halazia connection. In the poster, among the clouds on the top there is a shining ball in the sky. The last time we saw such a thing was in Halazia.

Moving on, we see the guy (probably Yeosang) plant a tree. The tree is planted on red soil, like it was watered with blood for its first water. Visually, we see trees a lot in ATEEZ's videos, like the burning tree in Fireworks and the trees in Crazy Form promotions (one alive and one charred).

In the canon, however, there is one very relevant tree, which is the Sibling Tree, two trees planted for the brothers that died at the Disposal Center merged into one and i think showing the tree planted on their blood is a very interesting image. The tree is important to Yeosang, since at the brothers' funeral, when the tree is planted, he swears their deaths will not be in vain. The tree is in Thunder's headquarters, which is now used as the interim government of the Liberation Zone, where people who don't want to have their emotions artificially controlled live.

In the sky, we see white doves (which are one of the symbols surrounding Yeosang) flying away. This is usually a symbol for broken peace. Putting all these together I have a theory that at one point, when ATEEZ were no longer there, the Liberation Zone and the Control Zone, who decided to coexist through an agreement, broke the peace and started a war. This then lead to the situation we see in Halazia with the city seen in the MV being the Liberation Zone and the people who first waited for Halateez and then turned against them when they didn't come back being the Liberated people.

There is one more detail in this poster which could mean nothing but bothers me a lot, which is the broken waterjar at the bottom. I tried searching for what that symbol could mean and came across this poem:

I am limited with my shallow understanding of symbolist poems and the Mexican history but the poem seems to present themes of exploitative rulers, dreaming of a better world, returning to the origin, and the effects of mankind's greed, war and misery on the earth. Most of these overlap with ATEEZ's themes. Furthermore, we can see some symbols like blue sun, dreamers, waves, answers, and birds that pop up in ATEEZ's art also in this poem. If I am right and this is a relevant thing, then it can reinforce the themes ATEEZ will explore in Golden Hour Part.3 and onwards.

About the second poster, there are 8 people on it. The seven's eyes are blurred and one is aiming with a crossbow. This can mean two things:

a) The people are brainwashed by the government and now target the revolutionaries.

b) As also seen in William Tell, the revolutionaries are forced to risk one of their own.

I like the second a bit more. And in ATEEZ we have a member who is closely associated with apples, planting and trees (credit to @/jonghopedia on twitter for the images below)

Which raises the idea: What if the group will have to risk Jongho in one of their revolutionary acts? This would also give some meaning to the Jongho holding apples image in the Birthday MV which we couldn't find a non-meta explanation for.

Ok so I have been saying "....ghosts???" for WEEKS and, after me and @skelejor were screaming about this last night, I need to compile all my thoughts in one red-strings-on-a-corkboard post because I am probably wrong, but if I am right I want to have it all together in one place so I can be absolutely unbearable

Full disclosure I am still very much a BabyTiny, I’ve only been here since September, I am not up-to-date on the lore, this is just what my pattern-recognition-machine autistic brain is seeing

Let's start at the beginning, several weeks ago - the black outfits where two of them were white - everyone was in the comments going "lol who didn't get the memo we were in black today" - my initial reaction was "heh maybe they're ghosts" - I MAY BE WRONG, it may be entirely unrelated, but that's just what I thought at the time

Time moves on, I forget about the ghosts, and then we get the raggedy ass tattered and torn, held together with safety pins KGMA outfits. And I go huh that's interesting, feels very Halloweeny but we're past Halloween....Are they ghosts??? Don't even get me started on the return of Hala Hala and the way they did a medley of past hits. Ghosts of their past selves hello??? AND SAN'S DANCE BREAK TO "PHANTOM" WHAT IS PHANTOM WHAT WAS THAT ABOUT????

AND NOW it all begins to spiral and I start to wonder if I'm onto something or just delulu. The ghostly light grey contacts??? They scare the life out of me. I'm used to Hwa and Yeosang having maybe darker grey contacts but these light ones give me ghost/spooky/undead/bodysnatcher vibes, especially on Wooyoung and Mingi (who MATCHED HIS HAIR TO THEM??)

Again with the spooky, again with the white and black outfits with flashes of red. It's giving spooky, romantic Edwardian ghosts vibes, Phantom of the Opera vibes, spirits and darkness and roses and blood. And the makeup???? Like I recall it's a thing that Korean blush comes up under the eyes but this goes beyond that, Wooyoung looks positively undead here??? It's giving ghost of a Victorian child who died of tuberculosis. And don't get me started on Day-of-the-Dead vibes all-white matador Mingi??

At AAA there was that dance break that made us all go "ummmm Phantom of the Opera vibes??" with the candelabra and Yunho (in which I very much see him being tormented by the voices(/ghosts of the past?) and drinking to make the voices go away... (was it poison?? the way he shakes/seizes after drinking it, I'm just saying....)

THEN COMES THE SBS GAYO DAEJEON

We're in 'mature pirate' outfits BUT now there are ACTUAL GHOSTS ONSTAGE?? And Wooyoung has placed a veil over us and we've collapsed and the music has wound down as we're being drawn into the ghost world (beyond the veil!!!). And the clincher for me is as soon as we become part of the ghost world A BELL TOLLS (the symbolism *feral screeching*) and an eerie mist rises (on the screens) as the Captain descends (into the underworld??). We're beyond the veil now in the world of GhostTEEZ, who are resurrecting an old song and performance (see this FANTASTIC post from @vampirehwa on how we're getting a glimpse into their past and links the dancer ghosts to this idea)

The brilliant @skelejor then reminded me that the Ash MV TAKES PLACE IN A CEMETERY - so moving forward from that - is something rising from the dead here?? Is this the ghosts of their past selves rising from the ashes?? The ghosts of Halateez perhaps??? Is this why we've been getting performances of old songs?? Is this why they've looked spooky and tattered and torn??

Finally there's the lantern - it's shoved in the camera's face (and therefore has to mean something??) when Seonghwa jumps in to defend Wooyoung who's surrounded by ghosts and it seems to drive the ghosts away (and possibly contains an hourglass?? It's not super clear if it's just the internal part of the lantern or The Cromer???) AND there's a similar lantern (refashioned into a snowglobe) on the Santatarius team table in the Christmas games video!!! THE LANTERN MEANS SOMETHING I'M TELLING YOU IF I'M WRONG ABOUT THIS I'LL EAT MY OWN HEAD

Anyhoo, feel free to ignore me or join me and add to my corkboard of insanity.

Final thought that is definitely just my delulu speaking and does not mean anything BUT my initial thought on seeing this photo was "oooooh priest!Wooyoung come to exorcise the ghosts!" Man if I wasn't avoiding doing assignments I would write a spooky AU fic about all this

I said it was Sopro's view, and @thirstkanaphan likened it to the panopticon from World Z.

She's surveilling them inside of the prison she built inside herself after swallowing them. Sopro mined their memories and modeled her prison after World Z, borrowing the panopticon model she found there.

First mentioned in the Golden Hour Pt. 2 Diary Entries, Sopro is the name of a ruby-red stone, which Left Eye describes as follows:

"Sopro is a sort of magical spirit that synchronizes the feelings of those who hold it with those who draw breath around them. According to legend, one of the four priest guardians of Halazia gathered the breaths of all of Halazia to create it."

Here is what we know about it:

It was created in the Z-World by the rebellion which means Z and his followers don't know about it

The creation of it is likely what we see in the Halazia MV, meaning Seonghwa in the video plays the role of the priest guardian who created it

After its creation, we don't see it again until Crazy Form where it appears after the Cromer shatters at the very end and gets carried away by a blue bird (THE bluebird which so often gets mentioned in the lyrics)

It was then used by the Black Pirates/the Rebellion to synchronize the emotions of the people of Strictland which is ultimately what set everyone free and made the revolution a success

Wooyoung later uses it again in the A-World at the very end of the most recent Diary Entries:

Wooyoung: "So if I use this... I can sync my and the members' emotions?" Sopro's red light wavered as though in response to Wooyoung's question. Holding the stone tightly in his fist, Wooyoung brought his hand to his heart and earnestly prayed: "It's as though they've all forgotten what it was like to be happy. Reignite our passion like it was back then, and let us be happy together again. Please." Red light spilled from the gaps between his fingers, a ruby aurora dancing throughout the dark room.
