outoftomorrow:     That-they are...xD     Though all the families in Ranma at bat shit cray-cray really. 

outoftomorrow:      No, they’re really not...xD She does fantastic beginnings...And really great middles--but she falters when it comes to endings. Though in a way that means she leaves most of her series’ completely open to fan interpretation. So they can finish off the story in their minds the way they want it to actually end, and no one person’s thoughts on it is right or wrong. It’s a bit ingenious in it’s way...      Even Inuyasha’s not completely definitive ending gives way for the fan to change what happens after the fact.

outoftomorrow:      Good--and/or in depth...Heh. Though it varies. Her ‘episodic story’ characters such as the ones from Urusei Yatsura, Ranma ½, and Kyoukai no Rinne don’t really have too much depth to their characterizations and never really get much of it...But they’re still well made characters.        Meanwhile her ‘continuous story’ characters such as those from Maison Ikkoku, Inuyasha and now Mao seem to develop a real depth and meaning to them as the story progresses. Which, I think, makes them exceptionally well made. And it *is* her characters--I believe that draw us into her tales and keeps us there. x3
