to all my US followers, today is election day. please get out and vote if you’re able and haven’t already!

♡ if you requested and received a mail-in ballot but would prefer to vote in person, take your mail-in ballot and all accompanying materials (outer envelopes, security envelopes) to your voting location and see if they’ll let you destroy your mail-in ballot to vote in person.

♡ if you voted by mail, check with your state and local elections office to make sure that your ballot has been received! if you need help finding the proper channels to do this, i will help you.

♡ if you’re in line, stay in line! if you are in line when the polls close, you have the right to vote. if your polling location refuses to allow you to vote for any reason, ask for a provisional ballot. 47 of the 50 states utilize provisional ballots. more than likely, you are in a state that does. it is better to vote provisional than to not vote at all.

♡ if you are being intimidated at your polling place, know your rights. call your state voting line and local fbi field office. voter intimidation is illegal.
