I find it fascinating that most people plan their vacations with better care than they do their lives. Perhaps that is because escape is easier than change.

We must all carry the weight of discipline or regret. Discipline weighs ounces, regret weighs tons.

If you don't like where you are, change it! You're not a tree.

We generally change ourselves for one of two reasons: inspiration or desperation.

Success is nothing more than a few simple disciplines practiced every day. Failure is a few simple errors in judgement repeated every day. It is the accumulative weight of our disciplines or our judgements that leads us to either fortune or failure.

Learn to be happy with all that you have, whilst pursuing all that you want.

Let others lead small lives, but not you. Let others argue over small things, but not you. Let others cry over small hurts, but not you. Let others leave their future in someone else's hands, but not you.

Work harder on yourself than you do on your job.

The most important question to ask on the job is not "what am I getting?" - the most important question to ask is "what am I becoming?".

Success is not to be pursued; it is to be attracted by the person we become.
