Jimin accidentally using a flipping off character đ He remembered how knetz tore JK a new one for jokingly âflipping off fansâ and went into full panic đ
Totally agree with you on the phones. I think a reason for the no phone push goes along with the more informal vibe of this show. There is less structure, choreo, set design and more vibing with each other and the immediate audience. So I understand why that would make it would be difficult to look out and see a wall of phones.
But maybe this is also coming from my personal frustration that this comeback tour is falling a bit short of the intention that every other BTS or member concert/performance has had. To be clear, I love them and love to see them happy and healthy and doing what they love together. And I'm so glad they talked about having a healthier approach to touring (by spacing out the dates, using their time more wisely, etc). I'm not saying they needed more choreo necessarily but that doesn't mean they couldn't have had more intentional set design or structure as part of the show. And that could have balanced out giving audiences some bigger AW moments with the more intimate, candid vibes. But that's just my opinion from watching streams, maybe in person it's different.
Good point! I think we briefly talked about it before, how they probably want to make up for whatâs lacking with face to face connections.
âIâm not saying they needed more choreo necessarilyâŚâ well, I am! đ In all seriousness, I do acknowledge their reasons for limiting the choreo, but if we were going to remove one of the most integral parts of why BTS is so loved, aka their performances, then youâd better go big on the stage productions. But that isnât the case either, so itâs a lot harder to excuse and ignore what the tour is lacking.

I'm so relieved that I'm not the only one who isn't on the Hooligan train. Is the appeal just because of the knives and the "ha ha ha" thing? I just don't get it.
Until this post, I hadn't thought about it being the FIFA selection. I was more worried about Swim. Ha ha ha ha ha ha.
I also don't understand why B2B isn't getting more push. I mean, they made this big deal about including a sample from "Arirang" on it; it has the emotional and cultural resonance. It's a banger and even opens with the line "I need the whole STADIUM to jump."
So it has to be B2B, right?
p.s. The whole FIFA thing is giving me such a yuck feeling. We thought the NFL was bad, but the price-gouging here is astronomical. It's so in line with the Trump brand. Not to mention the threats of ICE agents showing up to terrorize people.
d.p.s. Also, it's going to be so freaking hot at MetLife.
Itâs gotta be B2B because thatâs the most sensible one â but, oh, wait, no, never mind. Because apparently, this era is about making all the wrong decisions đ I donât get whatâs not clicking. We do not want more Hooligan content. Itâs not that serious but also, free usssss. Weâve gotten used to dumb around here, any other company wouldâve seen how much potential B2B has and pivoted to take advantage of it, but I guess not. And yes, if this is BTSâ wishes, theyâre also dead wrong lmao đ #idonotdefendbtswrongs
B2B makes the most sense, followed by 2.0 for no reason other than the performance.
I canât be the only one who gets a tiny bit annoyed when I see artists telling people to not use their phones during concerts, including BTS.
I totally get the reasoning behind it, I know it must be annoying to look into the crowd and just see a bunch of devices in front of peopleâs faces. And I do think people need to live in the moment more instead of rushing to film every single little thing and experiencing it through a camera.
But at the same time, these people are throwing hundreds of dollars at you, hundreds more probably spent on accommodations, travel, tour merch, etc. All to see you for a couple of hours, maybe the only time theyâll ever get the chance to. I think they have the right to try and make that moment last by filming it. This may just be another Tuesday for you, as an artist whose job it is to perform on stage and go on world tours, but this might be the only memory that fan will ever be able to make of seeing you in person. I donât know, it just feels a bit inconsiderate.
I think a lot of people ran with NJ (?) saying that they used a sample and assumed this was the sample.
This isnât about this video, it just reminded me of how many people seem truly iffy with Jimin going viral often or getting a lot of attention. Itâs definitely not everyone, I think a lot of people are absolutely loving this, but thereâs definitely some who you can tell just arenât comfortable with it.

Itâs very important to me that Jiminâs long hair is immortalized in the family photos! Taeâs half-blonde hair too. Future generations need to know.
Future generations looking at Jimin from this era and saying they were born in the wrong era đ
Have BTS considered a Keeping Up With The Kardashians style reality show as a longterm group plan. If not, is there any way I can plant this idea in their headsâŚ

I see a lot of similarities between Swim and Come Back To Me and wonder if Namjoonâs lyric writing just doesnât work as well in English. They both have really simple, repetitive lyrics and are supposed to be more of a meditation on movement through life. People just consider Come Back To Me as a deeper song because 1) Namjoon wrote/performed it and Army is conditioned to think everything he says is really profound and 2) The video was great and showed a much more interesting story than the lyrics. If Swim had a better video we mightâve felt something more. But mostly I think it needed to be in Korean for him to fully express what Keep Swimming meant to them. When he was in the songwriting sessions in the documentary, he looked like he was having such a hard time explaining in English what he wanted the songs to be. We think of him as being so fluent but holding a conversation is different from writing a pop song. And then factoring in what all the members could easily sing. I like Swim a lot so this isnât a complaint. Just I wonder if there was a way to get closer to the vision he had.
I also agree with this. In fact, I think you can see this in other parts of the album as well.
For example, in they donât know âbout us. I know NJ acknowledged the double meaning of the âyou make me weakâ line, but the way Jimin initially phrased the explanation stood out to me. When you listen to stuff like that, it sounds romantic or very loving, but Jimin said fans make them weak because they essentially suffocate them. They hold them to such a high standard that they have no room to grow.
And I think thatâs another example of how we wouldâve never gotten the meaning of specific lyrics like this if they hadnât explained it, and it may have a lot to do with the fact that they simply arenât English speakers/writers. I mean, think of the amount of lyrics in Korean that need elaborate explanations because the language barrier is so huge between the languages. Now think of those same Korean artists explaining those feelings using English terminology. It probably doesnât always translate well.
