For EV owners, battery failure/ degradation is not an issue. EV means less maintenance: oil/spark plug/timing belt/air filter change, muffler.....

The Republican politicians want to destroy U.S. world class research by basing it on non experts and political connections.

"One of the reasons the USA has historically been such a research superpower is that we've had a merit-based science funding system, where research is funded by the federal government based on the assessments of other scientists," 

Talk about wasting taxpayer money. Hopefully, people won't scratch the gold off to steal it. Will we have to pay to guard it 24/7? Government waste when people are living paycheck to paycheck. I guess what do we expect when the wealthy are in control.

They are currently on a spending spree ballooning the deficit. Who said Republicans are concerned about the extreme budget deficit. Only when the president is a Democrat.

Don't forget the lavish ballroom that wasn't going to cost taxpayers anything but now they want $1 billion dollars of taxpayer money.

Republican politicians claim to be anti-drug and for law enforcement. Really? A drug leader with political connections?

Given the increasing energy demand of data farms/AI, causing consumers higher rates, why cancel a much needed energy source? Basic economics: more supply=lower prices. Unless Republican politicians are beholded to the oil companies, the middle east oil countries, and Russia.

Boy some people will believe anything! Do they have any evidence or proof? In theory, how can this be done? Why isn't there any scientific papers on how in theory this can be done? Are Russia, China....so behind that they can't do this also? Why doesn't the government use to this to put out the drought and wildfires in the southeast U.S. Since the presidency, Congress, and Supreme Court are controlled by the Republicans, are Republicans now using it to inflicit pain on Red States (Florida, Texas, Oklahoma, Nebraska.....) who are encoutering major drought, tornadoes, and hurricanes? Why don't we use the power to hit Iran, Cuba.....?

Companies create light shows with lasers. Since a tornado or hurricane would probably require more lasers and powerful ones, why aren't there numerous reports like there are for UFOs?

We were told: 1) The war was over, gas prices will be coming down. 2) Most of Iran's drones and missiles were destroyed, 3) The Iranians were desperate to make a deal, 4) Iran's nuclear supplies were obliterate, 5) Iran's military capability was destroyed, 6) The Gaza and Ukraine wars would be settled in a few days after inauguration, 7) The border wall would be paid by Mexico, 8) The administration would bring down prices, 9) The federal deficit/spending would decrease, 10) Doge would reduce the deficit by two trillion dollars, 11) create booming economy/job growth, 12) help farmers......

Sixteen months after the Republican politicians took control of the Presidency, Congress, and Supreme Court, eleven weeks after start of the Iran war, all proved untrue.

"Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me" or 20+ times. Talk about over promise and under deliver.

With the exploding demand for more energy supplies due to AI and the 20% cut in oil flow due to Iran war, energy prices have jumped: adversely affecting affordability. The president has paid 1 billion dollars so a company would cancel its wind farm projects. This reduces the amount of future renewable energy sources and keeps us depended on the mideast and oil companies. Addition evidence Republican politicians are in the pocket of oil companies and OPEC.

This action hurts the poor, widows, and orphans which the Bible calls on us to protect.
