Remember in season 2 when Lee wanted so much to leave Gotham? She wanted to raise her baby in a safer place, but she also wanted Jim to go with her. She couldnβt understand why he was still beating himself up when they could just leave. I think if thereβs only one good thing that happened to Lee in Narrows was to sense what it is to try to save something, trying to be the hero, and feel like you are failing no matter what you do. She now understands him better. She shares his feelings, she can empathize with him. Itβs so good to see that they want to support each other.Β
