     The two round a corner soon enough, the street that leads to the Satonaka residence coming into view. Thankfully her parents shouldn’t be home— the last thing she wanted was to have to explain…. well, this. The fewer people that fuss about the incident the better quite honestly, a lesson that had only been reiterated time and time again.Chie knew she would be fine, knew it was something she could handle, so there was no use in making a huge fuss about it, right? Right.

     “Things have been okay, I guess.” She admits with a small shrug. “Quiet though. Maybe it’s ‘cuz I got a little too used to the action but things seem kinda… boring? Er…. n-not that I want anything wicked crazy to happen! Just kinda feels like there’s not much to do tlately, y’know? Ah well. It is what it is.”

“The quiet atmosphere returning can have its drawbacks....but at least it’s a good sign.” Naoto said with a faint, calm smile. One that fit her more, really. Granted, Naoto’s daily life was less quiet than the lives here that had no reason to travel back and forth between Inaba and cities surrounding, but it wasn’t the same kind of ‘noise’ that the team experienced before, together. It certainly wasn’t...as satisfying, she supposed. 

     Impressive huh? Maybe. Chie was definitely more durable than your average teenage girl at any rate, mostly in part due to her rather reckless nature and the fact that…. well, this certainly wasn’t her first fight. Or her fifth or even her tenth, if you wanted to cut down to cold hard facts. Ever since she was a kid, she was the nosy sort to go sticking up for others or trying to stop bigger kids from doing things they shouldn’t. A good way to live in theory but a better invitation to a hospital in practice.

     “Eh….? Nah, I’m used to it. I mean, yeah, it hurts and my head is ringing like crazy but I’ve definitely had worse.” Not to mention she got all the blubbering out of her system sometime between the punks making their escape and Naoto showing up but that much was conveniently kept to herself.

     “Man, I’ve been in the hospital more times than you can believe. Name an injury and I’ve probably had it! Broken bones, sprains, cuts, concussions…. something like this is pretty softcore, honestly. Kinda like kissing pavement when you crash your bike, y’know?”

“That’s...that doesn’t really help quell one’s concerns, Senpai...” Naoto sighed, adjusting her cap for a moment before shaking her head. “But...I digress. If you feel that you’re fine, there isn’t much else I can do.” Aside from keep an eye out and make sure she actually was. After all, this was the same person who’d arranged physicals for them all upon first joining the group.
