Linda rolls out of her sleeping spot and stretches her arms. 

“Wakey-wakey, eggs and bakey!” 

He stares at her figure from afar, wondering where exactly his fate lives within her, held hostage in her very flesh, with her pumping heart. 

She notices his eyes and says, “Good morning!” and waves. She smiles widely. 

There’s a part of him that wants to crawl into her arms and hide again. Another that’s still disgusted – at her, and at himself, for feeling anything towards her but revulsion.
