The Child is home.

Surgery went well.

BUT

Now the Child is high as a kite. And it really, really dislikes the neck-thingy it has to wear. So even drugged out of its mind it managed to get that thing off 2 times already. Meaning the vets had to put it in a body. Which looks ridiculous.

That, however, the Child dislikes even more.

It won't lie still. It is breathing like a racehorse before collaps.

And I can't do anything. Also my flat is warm. Because of course it is.

what people don’t understand about how adhd is disabling is that it’s not just getting temporarily distracted from, like, school work or hobbies. it’s getting distracted/being unable to motivate yourself to go to the doctor, eat regularly, do hygiene tasks, etc. it’s not knowing when or how long it will take you to do something, ANYTHING, and in many cases that thing is taking a shower or keeping your house from turning into a biohazard. it’s about being fundamentally incapable of controlling your attention and focus on anything, even and especially things you need to do to survive.

No Trier visit. The surgery for the Child is on the 5th next month. The exact date when my mum wanted us to go. So instead she takes my dad. And I make sure that my Child will be fine again. Hopefully. And maybe go to Trier next year. ........ 2026 is feckin cursed. Italy was nice. The rest is just an absolute nightmare.

I dont know how much this has reached tumblr already. I barly used it the last day due to family problems and being in a bad head space.

But today was the CSD in Berlin. A car ran into attendees a few hours ago. I think the news said that the driver switched to attacking people with a knive after the car stopped. I am not completely sure, please duckduckgo it to find out more. Here is one of the first articles I could find.
