Coming soon to Columbus, IN: Redbud flower garden in color

The weather is warming up and there will soon be a colorful display in the Redbud flower garden on the north side of the Miller House. The hand-colored drawing from Jack Curtis & Associates details the Dan Kiley-designed checkerboard layout and indicates which sections of the grid are to be planted with flowers or greenery. The top photo by The Cultural Landscape Foundation and the bottom photo from the Indianapolis Museum of Art depict Kiley’s flower garden plan as realized at the Miller House and Garden. If these views are any indication, tours will sell out even more quickly during the warmer seasons. Plan ahead and get your tickets early to see these lovely gardens at their peak!
