harrison gestured that he didn’t care for it with a shrug. he looked around the crowd only to see a few (or maybe a lot) staring at the blonde’s arm around the brunette quite attentively.·“nah, you know…” he smirked as charming as ever,·“i’d rather stay here with you and keep on being your guard because y’know.” harry could still feel the stares and glares from others who had planned on talking up maya, or even him, but he could have cared less about them. “anyways, you having fun?” he inquired. he wasn’t sure if the idea of making small talk was a great one even though he didn’t have a clue what to talk about, besides that awkward night they had recently.
maya had chosen not to look around to see exactly who was staring at the two of them because she couldn’t have honestly cared less. it didn’t matter what anyone else thought of the two of them because their relationship made sense to the two of them. giggling softly, maya had tilted her head slightly to the left as her nose scrunched up, the quiet giggles falling from between her parted lips. her eyes met harrison’s as the brunette shook her head.·“no, i don’t know, y’know?” she teased, giving him an innocent look before her hand was intertwining in his.·“c’mon, dance with me.” she pulled the taller blonde out to where the mass of sweaty bodies were grinding on each other in the makeshift dance floor in the middle of the living room, completely ignoring his sorry excuse at small talk.
