“Jezebel, your attraction to me gets more and more obvious with each passing day,” he teased with a grin, his head bobbing a bit as he raised his brows. “You should’ve dibbed it first, my friend. Then maybe I would’ve just settled for Padme Amidala. Ah, a Harry Potter reference… I’m impressed… and shocked.” he chuckled and then lifted his drink to his lips to take a drink, furrowing his brows a bit. “D’you want to dance?”

“Now why would I be fucking with you?” he rises an eyebrow at him as he looks surprised. “Now, that is a good point.. I do always look good as hell.. yeah, maybe I could.” 

“It’s alright. It’s just the rare occasion of seeing me in a suit that gets the ladies all confused, I suppose.” Matthew laughed lightly. He barely wore these… monkey suits, even though he’d noticed it always attracted a group of women. “Well, dear, it certainly doesn’t make you less sexy. And you know what a bombshell you already are without the costume.”

“Absolutely! It makes me nervous, I think I’m no longer considered the hottest in the room.” She joked as she knew that there were a lot of attractive people in attractive costumes, Matthew included. “It’s hard not to know when everyone reminds you,” she was always in a joking mood but Halloween brought it out even more. “If you keep telling me, I have no choice but to believe it.”

“Well I do enjoy DC comics, especially any hero or villain from the Batman Universe..its just interesting.” he mused with a light smile. “The wig must be itchy, huh?”

“They all have different backstories that make them up for who they are and some think what they are doing is good while others know what they are doing is bad. I love the complexity of it all.” she chuckled, “It really is.”

“I’d say whip it off if I were you, sure as hell your natural hair would still make you look good.” he replies while sipping his drink. “Thanks, I sure as hell think I look good as hell.” he teased, winking at the girl. 

“That is dedication!” Wes replied through the voice changing device in the helmet, before pulling it off and letting out a little huff. “It’s fucking hot in there,” he stated, placing the helmet under his arm. “Thanks, I always felt like I could make a good darth vader. Visually. I’m not nearly as hardcore as him… or angry. Nor do I have a desire to rule the galaxy.”

“Oh, thank you so much.” Angel answered with a gracious smile as he looked down at his costume, which was fitting to be talking to someone dressed up in the same comic universe. “The red hair is a staple though, so I think you look lovely yourself.”

“It’s really no problem, nice to see someone else doing the DC Universal costume after here.” She admitted, even though she wouldn’t admit that she really loved Superheroes in general and not just for references. “I appreciate that, I’m just not used to wigs.”

“I don’t know what costume you’re talking about, I always look this devilishly handsome.” Matt wanted to flip his hair with flair but forgot about his squishy horns that got knocked right off his head. A grumble left his mouth as he bent down to pick it up. “Well, I think you should keep the wig on. Then you can join the club of sexy reds.” He heaved as he got back up, chuckling lightly

“Maybe it would toughen me up a bit though,” Wes stated playfully as he swayed a bit from her nudge. “Wow, have I been a good influence on you? The Jezebel Waters? Amazing progress,” he said, clapping his hands as he teased her. “Your neighbors might think you’re murdering me, but at least I don’t know them. So, yeah. Lets go there.”

“Maybe so, hey, anything to help after all.” Jezebel grinned, knowing that there were only a few people she actually enjoyed company fully and Wes was one of those few. “Of course not, I’m too strong-minded to be good.” She joked before shrugging, “maybe you are a good influence but I would never agree or disagree.” Jezebel playfully rolled her eyes. “My neighbours are always blasting music all hours of the day, they never hear what goes on in my place.”

“I have other friends, just not a lot. So don’t worry, those few that I have help balance out the good with your bad,” he teased, his smile growing a bit. “You might have too. Don’t go telling everyone this, but I’m a wimp when it comes to horror movies - well, I’m a wimp when it comes to a lot of things, but I don’t need other people adding to the list for me,” Wes joked around, looking to her for a moment before looking back to where he was walking. “Want to come to my dorm, or want me to go to your place?”

“Great! Don’t need to be your only influence, that’s a lot of pressure.” She chuckled as she nudged him softly. “My lips are sealed for once in my life. And hey, I would never expose you like that, trust me.” She stuck her tongue out at him before she stopped walking. “Well, my apartment is more private so you can scream your heart out without worrying,” she teased.

“To be honest, you’re really one of my only friends so I can’t even say yes to that and joke about it,” Wes chuckled, raising his shoulders a bit and looking to the book in her hand. “Scary movies and I don’t mix very well, but I’ll watch them you’ll just have to hold my hand. We could get drunk and watch Halloween movies? That way, if we get bored of them we can still go out and party. And if not, we can just watch these movies while drunk… make things more exciting; and probably scary for myself…”

“Oh god, you need more friends when one of your only friends is me. I’m like, shitty so I’m not the type of good influence, you need at least one of those.” Jezebel chuckled at her own words before putting her book up. “I’ll even hold you close if you need me to. But I definitely love the getting drunk and watching Halloween movies. You can’t be that scared of horror movies, can you?” She teased knowing people who were terrified of those kinds of movies.

“I feel the love. I do explore everything… I just stopped when it sucked, obviously. Oh god, you’re crazy.” she replies while chuckling a bit knowing that there was something special going on with Oliver. “You can’t do that, Red did nothing to you.” she teased shaking her head at her. 

His eyes fell to the book in her hands, his brows raising for a moment before he furrowed them and met her gaze again. “Because I’m bored,” Wes replied with a grin. “We should do something tonight. I’ve got no homework anyway,” he told her as he walked beside her. “Unless, of course, bugging a few people then going home is far more important than hanging out with me,” Wes added with a playful smile.

Jezebel chuckled lightly at his words. “Am I your friend that you go to when bored now?” She teased before she started walking again as she read and listened. “Works for me and no, of course, that’s not more important. What you want to do? Stay in and watch some Halloween movies or go out and party?” She wondered with a grin as she looked at him.

“She actually did. Well, that’s nice I guess.” he replies while licking his lips and sending her a soft smile. “No, it’s not. Now that couldn’t be more true.. don’t think there’s a more annoying person too.” he decided to tease while making a face at her. “Yeah, probably not..” he decided to play along.

“Then I guess there’s hope for me after all. At least sounds like you do,” she teased him with a chuckle. “Yes, it is. Is that so? I guess you’ll be annoyed for the rest of your life ‘cause that’s how long you will have to deal with me.” She teased back even though, she did hope they would be in each other’s lives for that long. “What a shame.”
