anyway I've really been enjoying Splatoon raiders gameplay wise but the colonialist framing of the game's plot is out of hand and I was sad the story didn't resolve it in any satisfying way at all like maybe the post game will have something I hope but so far it's been like well not great!

If you suggest a piece of media has blatant issues with [insert form of oppression here] you will immediately attract dozens of people who are upset you suggest they think critically about something and they'll call you unemployed and stupid and explain how the piece of media's in-universe "justifications" for said oppression actually make it okay

I'm tentatively interested in seven havens like I've always kinda been thinking new avatar media will suck but I felt that way when I saw the trailer for LoK and I ended up loving that show so much like I do hate that this is definitely being done as a money grab on nostalgia and recognizable IP but I think there could be something to this based on the trailer
