Jessy Hardiman

I haven’t gotten around to a full bio but here’s what I know about Jessy so far; 

Born and raised in New York -- her parents got divorced when she was three and her mom moved to the UK with her new husband, leaving Jessy to be raised by her dad. 

Her dad is a retired firefighter/emt with the NYFD and still teaches CPR certification classes part time. He lives in Brooklyn. 

She’s very close with her dad and talks to him almost every day on the phone

She’s always loved computers and technology. She knows how to do a fair bit of hacking. 

She’d never thought about working for the police when she started college. But after a conversation with a professor planted the seed in her mind, she took a criminal justice class and then ran with it. 

While she’s not technically a police officer and doesn’t have the ability to arrest people and give tickets, she does work for the NYPD in their cyber crimes department. After getting an internship right out of college that turned into a job, she’s now the second team lead in her department for the city. And she loves what she does (except the paperwork). 

When she’s not working, Jessy is probably at home in her small one bedroom apartment in Queens. She can’t keep any plants alive so she has fake plants around her place. She doesn’t have cats or dogs, but she does have a bearded dragon named Reggie who she’s effectively taught to come when called. 

She has a pretty good sense of humor and tends to use humor as a defense mechanism for... anything. Sad? Be funny. Angry? Be funny. Awkward? Be funny. 

She’s clumsy and will knock over stuff or trip over her own two feet 90% of the time. 

Wanted Connections: 

Any kind of friend! She’s lived here her whole life, so friends from grade school, friends from college -- she went to NYU, friends from work. 

Neighbors! She lives in an apartment in Queens, so anyone who might live in her building or on her floor.
