When her only son told her that he wants to be a seiyuu, she didn’t know what to do. They didn’t have money for a voice acting school, neither they can actually afford it. Both mother and son admire a veteran seiyuu, Yamadera Kouichi, so they decided to try their luck and send a letter to Across Entertainment, together with her son’s sample voice and the form that they found on the website homepage.

Yamadera Kouichi told Hanae Natsuki that his case is extremely rare in voice acting world. “They usually will tell you to stay in school or try auditions. They definitely wouldn’t ask you to come for an interview!”
Nacchan laughed. He told Yamadera-san about how Across Entertainment’s president, Mr. Fujisaki, was willing to give him a chance, most probably because he was touched by his mother’s passion, aside from the right timing and his little talent. Yamadera-san then continued, “You, Hanae Natsuki, can be a seiyuu thanks to your mother. It’s the power of your mother’s love!”
Nacchan, congratulations on your wedding :) I don’t know if heaven really exists, but I know that she is watching you from somewhere and proud of you. Natsuki’s mom, thank you for bringing Nacchan to us. And please rest in peace, we will take a good care of your son.
(based on the timing, it seems like Hanae Natsuki’s mother wasn’t able to see his son debuted as a real seiyuu…)
