-give her reasons on why her child will be teased

-tell her stories of “well i know someone with that name and they are fat/ugly/weird/unsuccessful, etc/”

Just smile and compliment her. If you really don’t like the name, just smile, compliment her and then change the topic of conversation or walk away. The name a mother chooses for her child is a very meaningful connection for her, and you have no say in her decision.
