Also it’s my never ending story, of falling for actors who I’ve seen but dissed for no particular reason (in his case, the SS movie part 1 was ridiculous because of J.Leto joker lolz) but I’m soooo glad he’s not much of a DC actor because I love his filmography outside DCEU!

Need more projects of him as lead tho, kicking some solid ass.

1. In other shows’ cases, people excuse its failure because it was way ahead of its time but it’s true in the case of Altered Carbon: it was way ahead of its time! Because (apart from the fact that I was barely an adult in 2018) had you told me about an AI hotel in 2018 I would’ve laughed! That’s what Altered Carbon feels like, to me, a futuristic show which would’ve definitely worked had it released recently.

2. That being said is there some way Netflix suddenly remembers the existence of this show and randomly promotes it / revives it?

3. The show is definitely about cyberpunk but honestly what appealed to me was the depth of emotions under all the glam. Also the action sequences tbh! That’s what genuinely got me so obsessed with the show. Even though I’ll admit not being a cyberpunk fan, had to watch it twice to understand better lol (the other 3 times were for Joel Kinnaman lol)

4. Is there a way to forget a show and rewatch it? Would pick S1 in a heartbeat.

5. Imagine saying my fav character is the AI version of Edgar Allen Poe LOL (it me hahaha)

6. Started this show knowing Anthony Mackie was cast in S2, ended up not watching S2 (which I eventually will because love Mackie from MCU films!)

7. Keeping books and S2 aside, did anyone think about Kristin even once? I feel so bad for her. Lost Ryker then got him back in the form of Takeshi Kovacs my beloved, then lost Takeshi Kovacs as well! Now what do we do about this, Netflix?
